Ok my experience with this grinder was it ran hard and at some point motor temp. rose and it struggle after that, let it cool down some, ran it again motor remain hot and some meat came out with some black residue on it. Will have to return, But it grind my 16ibs. of pork so it got 3 stars!

We use this often for our homemade Jerky & sausage -or if you just have meat you need ground down for that nights dinner. It easily stores in our lower cabinets & comes apart quickly/easily for dishwasher cleaning. Love this & would recommend to anyone needing to spice up their countertop appliance collection :).

This grinder works extremely well. I’ve used it twice with excellent results each time. I had a little difficulty figuring out how to attach the tube to the machine. The instruction manual doesn’t explain how to do this very clearly. But I took a chance and pressed the button on top and that did the trick. I also needed a magnifying glass to see the picture of the blade in the manual to npmake sure I attached it correctly for the next use after cleaning. But despite those two things, the grinder is worth the price.

I cut the meat up into smaller pieces, and this unit grinds them without any trouble or bogging down. No need to freeze or chill the meats. However, dont try to grind up fatty meats like country style ribs, it will just ball up behind the cutter. I would imagine most grinders of this type would do the same. I go to Sams Club, buy their stew meat and grind it into hamburger. Works excellent

We decided to try to make our own deer sausage for the first time this year instead of sending it out to get done. I didn't want to invest a lot into a big grinder when I wasn't sure we would like doing it ourselves. We did about 25 pounds of summer sausage with this little machine and it worked really well. I will probably be upgrading to a bigger machine because of all the brakes we had to take to let it cool down meant it took us a lot longer that it probably should have to do 25 pounds of meat, It really does get hot after the 5 minutes and I could see the motor easily going out if you arent careful. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, it cost us less to buy the machine plus supplies then it would have for us to send it in to get done and we learned how to do something new.

Wanted better quality grnd beef. We buy the lean cuts of beef when on sale and grind them with this grinder. We do both coarse and medium grnd beef for different purposes. Seems very strong. We grind meat that is slightly frozen as it's easier to cut and feed into the grinder. NO problem for this 2000 watt motor. The instructions are minimal, and omit use of the "release button" in the text. But it IS mentioned in the diagram, so this is possible an intelligence test. I passed!Homemade sausage is next, from pork butt, of course..........A month later: We love this thing.A YEAR later: No problems. Excellent tool for the kitchen.
