These work just as well as the more expensive ones!

I recently got these Hidden Deck Fasteners, and I'm very happy with them! They made installing my deck boards easy and gave a clean, seamless look with no visible screws. The material is strong and holds the boards securely in place. Once installed, the deck feels solid with no movement. Overall, a great product—easy to use, high quality, and more affordable than big box home improvent stores. Highly recommend for a sleek, professional finish!

Okay, I thought about the price of these and how small the screw heads were that they would for sure suck or strip out. Well, I was wrong. These are A+. They lock into a #2 Phillips head perfectly without a magnet. The heads are very strong and do not strip; they are made of good-quality steel, and they hold a lot of pressure. I was waiting for the screw to snap any second but I haven't broken one yet. I'm installing them on #1 speed or slow to make sure not to bind up or twist the screw too fast. The wood is soft. It goes right in; I thought a predrill would be needed, but no, they tap in very well. I'm super happy with the price and quality. These are versatile and will make my decking look so much cleaner and more modern, not seeing screw heads. I plan to install a deck this spring or summer as the sand is very bad here. These function perfectly. Don't let the low price deter you. They are high quality.

This is such a good value for the price. I recently bought a bunch of composite decking material at a really excellent discount. I should have enough for a large deck and some cute stairs.Discovering that I likely wouldn't have enough fasteners and that they were specialized was pretty terrifying considering the money I just spent."Looking up the name brand fasteners was even more concerning since the price tag on those can equal a utility payment and you need multiple containers. My Dad actually recommended I check out these fasteners and he was right. They are exactly the same as the name brand version except they're way cheaper and preassembled. The rust coating was also a nice touch.I already checked them on the individual boards and they fit perfectly. This just saved me a bunch of money and I will be rebuying.

This is a small pack of clips that hold the edges of two boards down. The screw is stainless for longevity and the black color hides well. I do recommend that you use black joist flashing tape on top before putting on the decking and clips because it will do a better job of making the clips hard to see. It also helpful to clamp the boards together to keep the spacing tight while attaching the fastener hold downs.

You'll burn through a lot of these on your deck project, so order more than you think you'll need. The screws are stainless with a black zinc coating, which makes them nice outdoor screws, resistant to rust and corrosion. They are #4 screws x 1 5/8.However, these screws are softer than name brand screws, the heads are more likely to strip. So be really careful with your drill, put it on a slow setting, and go slow. The heads are small, compounding the issue. It is really difficult to pull one of these out after it's been stripped.I wish they were Torx instead of Philips. There is no drill bit included. The clips are a nylon material, also great for outdoor use. The clips are just a hair wider than the name brand clips I've been using, so be careful if mixing brands - you want to make sure your deck boards remain uniformly spaced throughout the project.Normally, the name brand run about 30 bucks per 100 clips, so these are about half that much.

They are divided in half with the screws divided in half separately. The screws are Phillips head so no random extra bit needed. I compared it to the name brand to make sure it will work for my composite decking. It’s a tad longer to cover more space but otherwise a great substitute. Good value!!!
