Thicker then normal so attachments seems to hang out further away from firearm, but for the cost they will work.

Haven't given them a hard workout, but so far no regrets. The fact they are plastic for many is "cheap", but for me a feature, since plastic is lighter than aluminum and my usage is non-critical. These are fine for a flashlight or a pop-on bipod. If you are deploying to Afghanistan, maybe get the metal, but for me and my usage, the light weight plastic is preferred.The price-point for what you get is quite good. A few nuances that aren't that critical.-The screw underside surface is tapered, but the rail counter-sunk hole is flat - so you have a dissimilar mating with very little contact surface actually engaging from the tapered screw head bottomed out to flat hole in the rail. Since it's plastic, and plastic can creep, I'm a little concerned they will lose tension and not hold. But so far no data to say that's actually happening yet. Just kind of sloppy to use screws that don't actually mate with the rail counter-sunk hole.-The screws and nuts all show up well oiled. Don't do that. Oiled screws unscrew themselves with time and tension. I blasted it off with degreaser.Again, for the ~$7 I paid, this is screaming good deal, and for that pricepoint the quality and serviceability appears good for light usage such as light-weight lights and occasional bipod support. I'd buy it again.

I should have paid more attention and known for the price these were polymer. But for the same price of one metal section I got a whole bag full of rail sections. I am using these to mount lightweight flashlights so I am sure they will do fine at the range. Not sure I would use these to secure bipods or hand grips on anything other than a 22lr.

I'd bought this product and was completely satisfied with the quality and durability. I installed these on two AR15 rifle and one AR15 pistol. So far haven't experienced any problems.
