Absolutely awesome when I brandished it with my left while holding my Bokken in right. Only gripe (hence 4.5) is that the tsuba feels VERY cheaply made.

has a realistic weightvery sturdy.The sheath is very light weight felt toy like but it serves its purpose more then well and plenty durable.when mine arrived I had to just slide on the hand guard and secure the knot of the sheath. which is really easy just takes a few moments of practice to learn how to do it right.if you dont know just google "how to tie a Sageo knot"

I bought this in addition to a bamboo sword I purchased. Only complaint is that it feels a little too cheap. It rattles inside the sheathe like a family dollar toy sword.Other than that, it is pretty much an overkill family dollar plastic toy sword.

Finally a training sword that my son can't destroy in one use! My son loves playing ninja, unfortunately everything we bought before this quickly broke. He's had this product almost six months and it's still in great shape. Excellent product. I highly recommend.
