10/10. Supplements my cold weather heavy insulated winter sleep bag on cold nights when the stove goes out in Moose Camp. The Rhodesian camo is a great starting point for history discussions with younger generations also.

When I brought to the vendor's attention a minor manufacturing defect in the particular poncho liner I received, the owner of the company got back to me the same day and assured me he would resolve the issue. He promptly and very generously did resolve the matter in a way that exceeded my expectations. I have not yet taken the poncho liner out in the field; however, it does appear to be of good design and quality. Five stars for the customer service. I will buy from this company again based on this experience.

I ordered this to replace my former RBS ranger blanket that I had traded away to a South African in the Royal Army. While I was looking to get a version without zippers and head hole, I am glad that I got this one in the end. I brought it out on a single-night winter exercise with my unit, and it proved its worth in the face of freezing rain and temperatures below 0 celcius. This RBS ranger blanket kept me dry in poncho form, kept my friend warm overnight as a blanket, and survived with no noticeable damage.Overall: Put through a single night military ex during the Canadian winter and passed with flying colours. Good quality for a reasonable price. Rhodesian Brushstroke pattern is faithful to the original. Would buy again.Thanks much, Dragoon Unlimited!

These woobies absolutely rock. I held off on reviewing until after a complete hunting season and it didn’t disappoint. They are warm, well made, and exactly as described. Love the zip out head hole!

With so many junky knock offs, it’s always a risk when trying to get a match for the original “woobie”.This is by far the best version, perhaps some will prefer the old just because of nostalgia but this is better in every way. The head hole alone makes this worth the purchase as you actually have a poncho liner now. The material is a little different, more “shiney” maybe but that is because of the DWR that will be very welcome when needed. The zipper is good quality and like the head hole, adds a very welcome addition to the original.The included pillow is thin but better than nothing, I’ll use it for sure and it doesn’t take up much room once it is rolled up into the blanket.Worth noting, this also comes with a stuff sack that I was unaware of and I ordered one for it that I’ll be sending back now, another bonus.In summary, it’s not the original woobie, it’s an improved version with useful features that is well made and a great value. If you’re looking for one, this is the one to get,

This is the most functional poncho liner out of the box. The zippers and the hole for the head makes it super wearable. Its just a tad thinner than the original, (maybe as warm, haven't tested that). The fact that it zips into a bag really helps keep the warm in. It also seems super durable, and dries in minutes on the line. This liner is perfect for camping or travel as a backup, and to keep in the car.Im getting another one.If you are loking for a liner, get this one, you wont regret it.

The quintessential poncho liner on steroids! This is everything I have ever wanted in a poncho liner. This is the one you’ve been looking for. Perfect for those cold nights sitting in the bleachers. Combine it with a poncho, and you’re good to go!

Well made, comfy, and seem to be built tough, but will have to try it in a more 'extreme environment than my living room. The added head pad was a nice surprise (i should read the description more in details...) !

I purchased one of these for my nephew who's an Eagle Scout and he absolutely loves it! I wasn't familiar with a woobie, but it's this all-in-one sleeping bag, blanket (for sitting on OR wrapping around you) and poncho (with a zipper cut out in the center!). I was very impressed with the quality - very high quality, thoughtful attention to detail. The material is SO soft. It rolls up nicely in the compact sack and is very lightweight to carry. Plus, there's a head pad included that's more of a pillow than I expected. My nephew loved it! My husband thought it was cool, too, so I actually ordered another for him! It's a great gift idea for any outdoor enthusiast.... I'm sure I'll be ordering more!

If time travel is ever possible, I will be going back to give my 17 year old self this AMAZING piece of kit! The ranger blanket I bought when I was an infantryman had no zipper or head hole! The Dragoon Unlimited Improved Trooper Woobie OCP is truly outstanding. The zippers along the edge and head hole are well made and all of the stitching is clean and doubled in most if not all places. The OCP/Multicam pattern is true and not some knock-off. I have placed my Team Wendy Ballistic helmet and 5.11 Tac-tech plate carrier in one of the pictures as reference to how GOOD the OCP/Multicam looks! The material on this blanket seems to be slightly thicker and tougher than that of the ranger blanket I had while I served which is a great improvement as not only does is feel like it provides more warmth and water resistance but also seems much less likely to encounter pulls in the material if it was to come in contact with a sharp stick or thorn as you are humping through the bush. The small pillow that comes with it and stuff sack it comes in are very well made as well and just another bonus to this great addition to anyones hunting/camping/hiking gear. I bought this product to use as a ranger blanket/poncho liner/shooting mat and after seeing its quality first hand, I know that it will fit the bill for all of those uses and more! I really cant say enough about this great product and wish I had known about it and bought it sooner!

This is my second liner from Dragoon Unlimited. The first one was the Rhodesian pattern. It arrived quickly but had a small manufacturing defect. I notified the seller and he promptly returned my email. The situation was handled quickly and very professionally. This OCP pattern one that just arrived is flawless. The additional zippers that are present are a great addition. I did a similar modification to my issued one years ago actually making it a very useful piece of kit. This has the modification from the factory and and a great price too! The fabric of the OCP is slightly different than my original, it feels a little more durable and the insulation feels slightly thicker as well. Very satisfied and recommend this if you are looking for a top quality garment from a veteran owned company with great customer service!
