Wanted these for my boat for duck hunting. Easy to install and they seem to be staying put. Have worked for 5-6 months now with no issues.

Recently picked up a used bass boat and wanted some lighting for night fishing. These LED's were relatively inexpensive and easy to mount. They are BRIGHT but not blinding. I have them all the way around the boat and on the cockpit. Water has not affected then at all. I have them wired to a switch on my cockpit. Just make sure you use a quality switch and I used a 5 amp fuse for protection and they run off my auxiliary battery. Great quality at a great price you won't be dissapointed.

About what you would expect from relatively cheap strip lights. Clean the surface you are sticking to pretty well and it seemed to stick pretty good, have only been on the boat for a few weeks so still TBD if the adhesive will last. They do include some screw in holders to anchor it whatever you are mounting it to but they are cheap and use super small screws so I did not bother. They are reasonably bright, my main complaint is that in my application at least they have a pretty tight beam width, they are mounted under the gunnels of my flats boat and at night there is a very clear light break around the middle of the deck but they do still provide enough light to see what you are doing. The strip does seem like it should be pretty waterproof just make sure to do something about the exposed wires on whatever end you don't have connected to power
