These took so much more then it said. And dissolved fast. I was like huh. You'll need a stabilizer if using these to help extended the life of your chlorine longer. With regular Clorox big ones I didn't.and only needed 1 and it last longer a lot. My experience. Mine was a used open bottle thou so .....hmmm

Product was shipped a few days after the order was placed but arrived sooner than the approximated delivery date.Product arrived in a sealed bubble bag. About a third of the powder contents were still in the container -how, I don't know. The childproof top (that requires the sides to be pressed in before it is supposed to turn) was loose in the bag, as well as the other two-thirds of the granular powder.Seller needs to ensure the plastic lid is on, locked, and taped to prevent it from untwisting since the body of the container is flexible plastic that can easily be squeezed in, dislodging the top from the threads. I can't imagine this is the first time this has happened.Granular CYA is extremely difficult to dissolve (my first attempt with this form of CYA). The directions noted using a bucket of warm water but this falls short of the task even after stirring non-stop for 15-20 minutes.Liquid CYA would have helped here but not if the lid was off and the contents spilled within the shipping packaging (which likely wouldn't have been delivered).Product testing by reagent strip wasn't conducted prior to this review, since it's ppm directions can't be expected if a portion of the chemical won't completely dissolve. From my research, this is inherant with granular CYA. I guess I'll have to try the sock method.

I bought this hot tub conditioner because I was tired of adding chlorine every week. It's really easy to use, you just toss a few pieces into the water and they dissolve quickly. The water looks much clearer and feels softer on my skin. I also noticed that the chlorine smell is gone. I'm very happy with this product and I recommend it to anyone who has a hot tub.

Does not dissolve well. Even mixing with warm water I have white pellets that don’t seem to want to go away. Probably okay for large pool with a skimmer, not so great for a small pop up back yard pool.

One bottle in our 18 foot saltwater pool helped to keep chlorine levels up and we had no algae in the pool at all this season. This was the only other chemical I added other than salt. I will use it again every summer. I don't know what part this played in the water balance, but it was all worth it.
