I needed a new vacuum head and this looks like it might do the trick. Owing to an ill-timed case of covid, my pool is currently a mess and my old vacuum head is feeling its age, but various attempts to replace it haven't gone well. The vacuums were too light and/or didn't roll smoothly. I ran into this one online and after some debate decided to give it a try. I've not fully vacuumed the pool (cold spell suddenly hit), but I did take the time to test it out and I like it. I do with it was a bit heavier, but I love the brushes on the sides and the rotating that attaches to the pole. The result is, you can move this thing in any direction and it vacuums and is well enough designed the once you get it down, it clings to the wall of the pool. And can I mention again how much I like how it can be moved in any direction. No more need to just vacuum straight forward and back. It also makes it easy to go back and hit missed spots and I'm sure will be wonderful on the steps. Sorry, I can't seem to upload the video of how it moves in all directions. The video's not very good, but the way sweeps around in any direction is impressive. The vacuum seems to be very well made and quite sturdy. I'm glad I took a flyer. Still wish it was a bit heavier, but that's my only complaint.

This works great. In fact, better than I was expecting. during spring winds and the fall, lots of leaves get blown into the pool. My vacuum doesn't always get everything, especially in the nooks, steps, and sun shelf. this is perfect for those clean ups. This has a rotation movement to it that brushes the bottom and sides as you push it through the water. I could see a visible difference in the pool bottom with just one pass along the bottom. This is also great for cleaning the spa, where the vacuum doesn't go. I'm very happy with this purchase.
