This monitor is by far one of the best out there. The ability to focus wirelessly with my Sony cameras the large monitor makes it easier to see everything. The build is solid and fan noise is not that loud in low mode.

This is a decent little monitor. Build quality is okay. The fit and finish are decent albeit the plastic is pretty weak. Seems like ABS plastic similar to what your old school alarm clocks were made from. It feels solid enough on it's own but once you strap a big NP-F9 battery on the back, then you wish it were sturdier. Screen quality is actually very good with good focus peaking, RGB parade, and luminance parade (actually better than the camera). As far as touch sensitivity goes, the screen is very responsive, not as good as a phone screen but pretty close. Even pinch to zoom works great (albeit in steps). Fn buttons are easily mapped and the 1/4-20 mount holes on all 3 sides makes it very versatile. As far as cons go, there are a few. Biggest issue is that it's very picky about the cameras that it will connect to via wirelessly. I assumed my A7R3 and R2 would work since they listed the RIV and RV but that's not the case at least not with the V1.181D.B51 firmware. The fan is a little louder than i expected, especially when at full brightness but it's not terrible and i don't hear it on recordings. Output wise, the HDMI output is limited to 1080/60 which is a little bit of a let down. Lastly, and least importantly is the carrying case that it comes with is super cheap. It's basically one step down from a takeout food container. Luckily i have plenty of space in my camera bag and don't need it. Small gripe i know but worth noting. Overall, it's not a bad monitor, especially for the price. True, there are better options out there however they do also get incrementally more expensive as well.

this looks, feels and has the specs of a solid unit. on paper? its a home run! in reality? i will never know nor do i desire to see any longer.this excluded a battery, mount, cables, and anything else i might need, outside the screen.using some "around the house" tech adapters i could hook it up, but i cant power it anyways. (no power brick, or battery included or available)this is a sad example of what could have been. the item does look nice. but this as a product is a total fail.

This monitor came well packaged. I use an Atomos Ninja V for monitoring and recording. For where I need only monitoring and no recording, I tried this monitor. This monitor is super bright and the resolution is good enough. The viewing angle is perfect. The monitor itself is built very well and the metal the metal chassis speaks heavy duty. The mounting threads work just fine on my rig. What's nice about it is it uses Sony NP batteries that I use for the Ninja. So I can reuse a whole bunch of batteries that I already have and do not have to invest anything on batteries. Overall this is a nice monitor.

I have not used an external monitor so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. This one worked very well when I set it up outdoors; the screen was bright, clear and large enough for a few people to watch at the same time. I didn’t set the monitor up but that person who did had no issues or complaints and it worked right away. I’m looking forward to seeing what else I can do with it.

Very nice monitor. Sharp, bright and controls are super easy to use. Plenty of built in features including scopes, focus peaking and false color. I've heard other complain about the menus, but they are simple and intuitive and easy to navigate through. Battery life is pretty good also, running a couple of hours on a small(ish) NP. I was hoping to use this in a cage as a director's monitor, but since all the inputs are on the bottom of the unit, cable clearance isnt great. Ill either have to get lighter weight hdmi cables or use a 90degree adapter. The monitor comes with a perfectly sized hard case, a monitor mount which tilts and 2 screen protectors, which after trying to install, I threw right away.Such a small negative on connector placement, I say this is a 10/10.
