These tea cups are so tiny just like a kid would play tea party.Not recommended for serving tea to your friends way to small.

LOVE THE CHECKS! The Potlien - Steve & Won fine porcelain cups and saucers with "tea" spoons are beautiful. The paperwork says lead-free and freezer safe. It does says "use sponge (gauze) and neutral detergent for cleaning. But, also says it is suitable for microwave, refrigerator and dishwater. I will probably wash by hand. The set has a fantastic decor design for a tea service. It looks great with my many MACKENZIE CHILDS dinnerware.

Purchased as a gift. Modern and beautifully crafted china, perfect for an afternoon "cupper," or anytime! Some reviews state size is small, but don't be discouraged. We're spoiled with using our huge mugs that hold way more than a cup! The receiver was very satisfied, and I'm glad I purchased. The only "con" is that the box is cute, but flimsy for such delicate items. The items were snugly packed inside, but the box should be more sturdy.

I ordered these cups to go with simple white dishes with a gold band for an Alice in Wonderland themed tea. They are very nice quality for the price, and will elevate my boring dishes to a magical placesetting worthy of Alice and the Queen of Hearts. I have plans to use them for a nutcracker theme dinner too.
