Nice little cook top it's worked great for everything I have cooked so far. Temperature stays consistent takes a minute to heat up. Easy to use it's nice and compact easy to carry and stores away nice.

While staying in a hotel during my travels, I was not a fan of the dirty, rusty microwave, so I decided to order a portable stovetop for cooking. It wasn't just for myself; I was also cooking for my mother, so it was for the three of us. Sometimes we ate at the same time, and sometimes at different times. The stovetop cooked good meals, and we took it everywhere with us. I did notice that if a pan wasn't dry before cooking, it would slide, likely due to the combination of heat and water. So, before cooking, I made sure the bottom of the pan was thoroughly dried.

And I like that in my portable cook stations. It’s got rather unusual heat settings that make more sense if you think about what setting you’d normally cook those items on (ie, do you normally simmer soup or do you boil it?) and it doesn’t stop heating when it’s on but I haven’t really checked to see how much the temperature increases after it reaches my desired setting. As long as you watch over it (like literally ever other portable cook station I’ve ever used), it’s fairly easy to wrangle it and make it do what you need. One reviewer mentioned that it’s a little too big for camping or hiking purposes and that is totally true. However, if you’re using it in a different setting that’s rather less nomadic, then you might appreciate the bulk and heft of it. It’s definitely not going to get overturned on a windy day if you do decide to take it outdoors! Overall, it’s definitely not the greatest but for the money it’s pretty solid plus it’s kind of retro cool so I dig it! A+++

It heats very slowly, not as good as the mini cooktop I used to buy at Hmart that was half the price.
