Works well you connect the pump and the light base together and then connect the light base part to the hose and dunk the pump in the water and start it and it pumps. You can use a bucket or pretty much anything that hold water. The only scary part for me is that the light base connection is close to the water and it feels like water will get in there so I’m careful when I use it. So far not bad but just weary of that.

I've only used it once and it worked, for how long who knows. The switch is an awkward place and hard to turn the damn thing off cuz it's on the bottom of the unit. Switch needs to be on the outside of the damn unit so you can find it not on the bottom. The other one I bought a year or so ago worked better but you don't carry that brand anymore. Although I only used it maybe three dozen times before the pump went out. And since you don't sell it anymore I couldn't get any information to get a replacement pump. I'm not near as happy with this one as I was the other one, but I think they're all cheaply made cuz they're made in China. Sure would like to get a really good one that would last and I could depend on.

This is perfect for the boat or camping because you can just stick it in a bucket of water and use it to rinse off very easily. I boat in salt water and we are on the sandy beach at the islands so it is nice to have a five gallon container of fresh water on the boat and we can just rinse off.
