The travel potty itself doesn't hold liquids (bottom has holes to enable folding). It needs to be used together with a water-proof waste bag.
If you are not sure about the quality of the waste bag, we suggest that you put another waste bag under the original waste bag may help ensure that it will not leak.
After use, tie the anti odor belt tightly and throw it into the trash can. It will not stink or leak. The cleaning of the toilet is also very simple.

This potty has been a lifesaver more than once for us. I initially bought it to put in the back of our SUV for when my child was first pottytraining and when they say they have to go they have to go NOW. Definitely saved us on the side of the road more than once. Also took it on a hiking trip for similar reasons and it served both my pottytraining toddler and my preschooler well. Have not had any issues with setting it up, collapsing it down, or the bags leaking at all. Great to have in all those situations where you don't have a nearby bathroom and/or if your little one is more comfortable on a smaller toilet.

Have this in our car and take with me in the pram for my toddler where ever we go. To the park or on long drives. Takes the stress out of finding a toilet in time.Very compact

This is the 2nd one I’ve purchased! My husband accidentally broke the first one, but it lasted a long time before then. The twist to collapse feature takes getting used to. I keep this in my toddler’s diaper bag and it comes in handy everywhere! She’s not willing to go in every public restroom (like her mama) and this has been a lifesaver to avoid potty accidents!We take it to track meets, on road trips, and more! My 8 year old and self have even used it in a serious emergency - NOT recommended lol. It’s a toddler seat for sure.

I bought this for my little girl. After she started using it I noticed that their was a yellow stain on the seat after only three uses. The bags they give are the reason for the stain, and left the same yellow stain on my counter tops!!!! She went to use it this morning and it broke! I want my money back and I do not suggest anyone else buy it

Ordered the first one and my daughter used it all the time for traveling with the kids. It broke when something slammed on top of it, and it cracked. So, I ordered her another one and, in the meantime, she had already ordered her own. It works for what it's for and folds to a very small piece when not in use. Kids don't mind using it at all. If you have non-potty-trained babies, this is for you especially when there are no facilities to use.

It's compact and not too heavy, so you can fit it in your bag or stroller and can take it everywhere. The bottom has holes in it, so you need the bags provided to catch the business. The folding mechanism is rather tricky, but overall a very good piece for on the go.

I got this to easily shove in the diaper bag when we go places like the zoo. My toddler is terrified of the big potties, so we have to drag a portable one around with us. Using a bag to catch the waste was rather difficult to deal with, so we decided to go the cloth diaper route and just plop a burp cloth or old diaper insert in the bottom whenever it's time to go. That worked really well! Made it easy to keep clean and meant I didn't have to hunt for a trash can with a bag full of pee... Win win!

I wish I had purchased this sooner! My kindergartener does not have the best timing for using the bathroom. We are often driving where there are long stretches before finding an exit. It was finally used for the first time and I was amazed. We had an hour until we reached our destination and basically nowhere to remove the bag and throw it away, and I wasn’t going to litter.I kept trying to pay attention for the smell. This amazing item held in all the smells (when you open the lid, you’ll notice the strong smell right away). I was so impressed that it worked well and held the smells in! We threw away the bag once we reached our destination and I left the bucket outside with the lid open to air out overnight. The smell was gone the next day. Anyone who travels in the car a lot with kids who aren’t in diapers should really consider this. I’m so sad I didn’t purchase it a year or 2 earlier!

The actual potty is super easy to use and gives my toddler so much independence in the morning if he wakes up before me or if he has to go potty in the middle of the night or whatnot. The bags that come with this potty are worthless. They were literally leaking pee. I found other potty bags by Munchkin that are great and also available on Amazon. It's a shame the bags that come with the product are so flimsy.
