This is a fantastic little radio! I live 20 miles outside the metro area, and the reception is crystal clear—even on AM stations. The speaker has a nicer warm sound than I was expecting. It also has a shortwave band, though I’m not familiar with that, so I can’t comment on its performance. Maybe that feature will come in handy during the zombie apocalypse! I sure know it would have been nice to have this when the power was out for 10 hours last week. The build quality feels solid and well-made. You can tell just by the weight of the radio and the smooth, precise movement of the dials. It has the look of a classic wooden radio, which I really like, but it’s actually made of modern materials. It’s a perfect blend of vintage aesthetics with modern functionality. It features a rechargeable internal battery (because, let’s be honest, what doesn’t these days?) and also works as a Bluetooth speaker. Pairing it with my phone was effortless. Plus, it has an auxiliary input, so you can use it as a tiny amplifier if you want. All in all, this is a nearly perfect little modern radio for me! I love it!

Everything about the speaker screams retro and I love the feel and esthetic. Unfortunately, the Bluetooth connection has a very noticeable delay to the audio and the speakers do not produce the cleanest audio which I guess works into the retro feel because it does sound like an old school speaker, but I'm not a fan of the sound produced. i say that but if you want an old school feeling speaker/radio this is what you want

This was very easy to set up and is really cute. Its a great gimmick for my office when people visit, and overall it just kind of cheers me up by being this silly, whimsical little radio. Mostly I have only used the bluetooth function and it works really well. The volume is a little finicky but I just tweak the audio better on my computer or whatever. It's small so it fits perfectly on the desk without getting in the way. I really love this thing and I plan on getting another one for someone as a gift because they loved it. The audio on it is also clear. I forget i'm not using my computer speakers most days.

It is smaller than I expected, maybe a little bigger than my hand. But it's the right size to fit in my desk without being too big and in the way. Sound from radio is clean. It has AM, FM, Bluetooth, aux. It fills sturdy. I did not expect the dial to light up, which brings a more retro feel/look to it. I love "retro" and this little radio is perfect. The charger is the old (bigger) android style plug, and honestly I haven't seen anything take that kind of charger in a long time, so that would be a feature that will need to be updated on future models of this radio/speaker. I will have to update on how long the battery lasts between charges when it dies.

Roughly the size of a small file box to hold index cards, this handsome vintage-look radio could fit practically anywhere. And, it’s more than a radio, for it also functions as a Bluetooth speaker and music player.Sound quality across all functions is reasonably good, with plenty of volume and clear sound. There is more treble and midrange sound than bass, which is expected for a radio/speaker of this size and type, but it’s pleasant to listen to.The radio paired up quickly with my phone and worked well to stream Bluetooth audio. There is also the option of using a USB storage device, a micro SD card, or connecting it to an external audio source with a 3.5 mm cable. The radio reception is very good on FM, with even fairly distant FM stations coming in clearly. AM works well for local and regional stations but isn’t terribly selective. For example, at my location a station at 700 AM occupies a wide enough spot on the dial that the next AM station I can get is 740 AM. I have other AM radios that will also get 720 AM.On shortwave I noticed that the stations come in strongly while you are holding the radio but as soon as you set it down the shortwave reception worsens. Using a small length of wire (about two feet) to lengthen the radio’s small telescopic antenna improved shortwave reception and allowed me to set the radio down without the shortwave reception diminishing. The radio’s cabinet and controls are all well-finished and everything works smoothly. The woodgrain is realistic and gives the radio an attractive retro look, complementing the design and shape.Power comes from an 18650 battery that is built into the radio. You charge it with a USB-A to mini-USB cord included with the radio. (A small red light below the charging port comes on to show that charging is underway and turns off when the battery is fully charged.) I would prefer that the radio include a replaceable battery rather than one that is built-in, but the internal battery will probably last a long time provided it is not overcharged or left in an uncharged state for a long time. And, the battery could be replaced if it ever stopped holding a charge, as the 18650 battery is widely available, but the radio would need to be partially disassembled to do this.Taking everything together and considering the price, you get a cool radio/speaker here with great looks and a lot of features in a compact size. It can bring style and a touch of class to a nightstand, end table, kitchen counter, or any other part of your home.

I absolutely love the look of this radio! The retro vintage design is charming and adds a touch of nostalgia to any space. It’s small, portable, and has a cool, classic vibe that makes it a standout piece on my shelf. As for functionality, the Bluetooth feature is a great bonus, and the ability to play MP3s via USB or a SD/TF card is super convenient. However, the radio reception - especially on AM - is a bit lackluster. It’s not the strongest, and I often have to reposition the radio to get a decent signal.Overall, while the radio’s performance could be improved, the design and extra features make it a fun, stylish gadget for music lovers.
