This review is going to answer the questions I had before purchasing the product. This was Amazon renewed and for those who are worried about receiving something used and abused don't be mistaken. Received the fr350br and to me it looks practically new. No dings no scuffs almost in pristine condition. Was missing the dust cap for the air fitting and the rapid fire doesn't function quite as smoothly as I thought but that's only due to the fact I was testing by dry fires without nails. The description States 22 degree nailer. The tool itself shows 21 degrees and with some other I'm on Research this gun will handle anything from a 20 to a 21 to a 22 degree plastic collated nail strip. As far as the case goes, technically, the factory refurbished or Amazon renew does not come with one officially. But, if you do happen to receive one, count yourself lucky because sometimes the manufacturer Porter-Cable will send the entire kit as a refurbished and there's nothing wrong with it other than they got it returned because such and such didn't like it or whatever. In my case, I did not receive a case. However, the Amazon Seller CPO Outlets took such good care of me, but that's another review. Ease-of-use is self-explanatory. For those of you that have questions on air pressure requirements this to operate anywhere from 70 to 120 not specifically the 90 PSI that everybody else wrote so you have a lot of leeway managing your air supply depending on what job you doing but at a medium pace with a 6 gallon Porter-Cable compressor I got 12 to 15 shots off before compressor even kicked on and as they recommend a Max of 75% runtime per hour you got no worries. Jams nails are booger but they are that way with most all guns there may be a little disassembly required So to avoid jamming read the instructions and take the recommendations it's only four nails y'all and not worth the frustration of unjamming your nailer ( nailer has feature that stops operation when only four nails remain in Hopper ) overall extremely satisfied giving four stars because of missing dust cover that keeps dust out and lubricant in. I do my best to take care of my tools because if I do they take care of me. This is a five-star tool for Captain side job or the avid home DIYer.

I received this item in great condition for a refurbished model. It has worked flawlessly and I have put almost 2000 nails through it already. It did not come with a case or bag. It shoots the less expensive 21 degree nails flawlessly. The listing is somewhat confusing because the nailer pictured is the FR350, the older model. I received the newer model, the FR350B. The only question I had was, the single firing mode requires the selector to be on the side showing 3 nails. The "auto" feature requires the selector to be in the position showing only 1 nail. Seems backwards but since I didn't get an operators manual I'm unable to check if this is correct. I have a feeling someone just put the selector button on backwards. No big deal, it's a nailer not rocket science. I would recommend to anyone on the fence about buying one. And the extended warranty through Amazon for only a few bucks, how can you beat it?

In no way am I a professional. Got this nail gun to build a storage bldg/workshop and have put about 10,000 3 1/4" nails through it and around 2,000 2" exterior ring shank siding nails. It has only hung up 1 time and I'm sure that was my fault for feeding 2 or 3 short strips at once instead of using them with a full strip. Seems heavy but, again, I'm not making my living at construction. Great value and definitely a time saver!

This is my second FR350B. First one I bought new and works awesome so needing a second framing nailer I decide to take a chance on a refurbished one. BIG MISTAKE!This unit came with no case and was considerably scratched up. I really didn't mind the scratches and thought I'd just put it to work. Well it just wont sink 3 1/4" nails flush, so I adjusted the depth control all the way for deep sinking and still it will not sink the nail heads flush. The gun I bought new will sink the same nails in the same piece of wood 1/4" below the surface if I want it to. So this refurbed gun is junk and is on the way back.

Great nail gun at a great price. Would have loved to have had a box for it, but for the price you can't beat it. Used it the day it arrived and did the job with no issues. Very happy!

This gun will get the job done but leaves a bit to be desired. If you're simply looking for an affordable nailer to knock out a job or two, it's not a bad option. If I were using it daily, or often, I'd recommend spending the extra money on a better tool. The gun has held up alright and even survived an 8ft. drop onto concrete. It operates pretty reliably but I'm constantly annoyed by the plunge tip on this gun. It's a round rubber nose that will not grip or bite onto the surface being nailed unless it's completely flat. Toe nailing studs or nailing roof sheathing at an angle can be difficult, as it requires enough down pressure to compress the spring which often causes it to slip right off the surface, especially when it's cold outside. The whole plunger itself doesn't seem to operate very smoothly, either, often not firing until the spring is re-engaged. I know this is a safety mechanism but becomes very bothersome, especially when trying to nail in awkward positions with one hand. Also not impressed by the tool-less depth adjustment. It doesn't seem very consistent or durable. Overall, you get what you pay for, and I believe this to be a good value, just don't expect it to perform as well as the more commercial-use models.
