I have had this impact now for a few years. It has never let me down. And it works flawlessly. Plenty of power, not too heavy, extremely durable, and the best price for is class in my personal opinion. The design is perfect. You can tell that it is very well built

Bought this for my dad who already has a sizeable assortment of 20V Porter Cable power tools. This is one of his favorites! No issues after 3 months of use! The real kicker, though, is that you get the 40 amp hour battery with this guy. That battery alone costs around $130 so this "lot" is a top-notch deal JUST for the battery!

This is my second impact, 1st one lasted a year and 1/2,i decided to get another one cause this gun really impressed me, second one for some reason stopped working after a couple of months, i got ahold of customer service and they sent me a new one hopefully this one lasts longer. I own a repair shop and I really need my tools, down side i had to wait 2 weeks for the replacement to arrive.for the price and customer service i will definitely recommend it. This gun has a lot of torque and gets the job done. This gun is the perfect tool to carry in your trunk to change your spare tire.

I only use it every 2-3 months or so and I don't even remember the last time I charged it. It takes out lug nuts of my Honda Pilot without much effort.

The weight and build quality is really good. Easily as good as the Snap-On gun I used to own. It easily attacked the control arm mountings on my Land Rover.

Most of the tools I own are Milwaukee. At one time Porter Cable was a great company so I thought why not give them a try.I gave it only 4 stars because..1. Value - the impact is variable speed but you cannot adjust torque.2. No battery life indicator on the battery. I am use to having an indicator to tell how much battery life is left in the current charge. So it's guessing time when you go to use it. If I plan to use it for a larger project then I charge the battery the night before.3. No dock for the battery. The charger attaches to the battery. Kind of DIY in my opinion.4. Sockets are difficult to put on. I hope it loosens up over time.So it's more like a 3.5 star for these reasons.How does it work? Works great. Not a Milwaukee but it was cheaper. Since I use it for repair for personal vehicles and in restorations, I don't use it that often. So this is the same reason that I would also look at Harbor Freight as an alternative when I need a tool but won't be using it on a regular basis. In my case the Porter Cable was a step up and overall I am happy and a little disappointed. I could have spent much more on Milwaukee, been happier but perhaps spent more than I should have - this again this was a decent alternative.

Impact gun arrived just in time for the seasonal tire change- easily removed wheel lugs from two vehicles. Impact gun is well balanced and light weight. Didn't need to change batteries. Good Dictionary.com to my tool box

Mucha fuerza para sacar los tornillos de llanta y supension, la bateria dura mucho tiempo. Es una excelente compra. El unico detalle es que se ensucia mucho por las tonalidades de la herramienta.

me encanto el producto, afloja y aprieta bien (sin tanto esfuerzo) todas las tuercas de amortiguadores,rines,centrífugos y clutch de motocicletas, "lo malo" es que se ensucia rápido y no es fácil limpiar las manchas, estuviera excelente que incluyera estuche para transportarlo. en conclusión es muy buena herramienta.

Prime Day sale that was too hard to pass. I have other tools in the Porter Cable family and really like them. I’m a weekend warrior around the house and they work great for your average household and shade tree mechanic. I didn’t need it but I put it to work the first day. My son used it and was like “where’s this been all my life?” Made a few nuts and bolts coming off the Jeep very easy to do.It’s heavy, so not for the limp wristed. It came with a 4ah battery which are usually pretty expensive by themselves.It’s not a torque monster but does your average job pretty well I think. Will come in handy for tires and other projects.

This impact wrench is such a good deal, I bought one and gave it to a friend. I've used mine on car and tractor implement tools. Not having to rely on an air compressor saves me time (not waiting for the compressor to load) and allows me to work on things miles away from my shop. My life is better because of this impact wrench! The torque is incredible and the battery life is GREAT. I've used mine for four years or more with no problems. Durability, power and ease of use make it a winner for me. The only drawback is the size and weight. It's not ideal for tight areas, and requires a strong hand - still, well worth the money in my opinion.
