You can only install one clip at a time. It leaves 3 or 4 nails every load. The manual says it's normal operation.

Terrible shipping practically fell out of the box before it got to my house. Other than that great nail gun.

What can I say? This nailer is a lifesaver! It has worked flawlessly, never jamming once using Grip-Rite round head shank nails in 2", 2 3/8", and 3" lengths. The only hassle was with the 2" nails that didn't want to move past the mid-magazine bolt head easily; at times, the nailer would dry fire. I would have to pull back the tensioner and let it go, knocking the nails tight. A little shot of WD-40 did help.I use this nailer with the small Porter-Cable pancake compressor with no problems at all. Definitely worth every penny, saving me untold hours of labor, and a trip or two to the doctor!

I have a lot of Porter Cable tools and several nail guns. This one is made cheaply! I have never had a problem with any of my older guns but this one is a pain. The gun is very picky, doesn't shoot all the time, then it double shoots. I oil it as recommended. I adjust the air pressure to see if that's the problem. If I bought this at Home depot or Lowes I would have taken it back!! I use these tools a lot, I'm not building bird houses in the garage. This tool will not hold up. Plus no plastic case!! That's how cheap Porter Cable is getting that they cant even include a cheap plastic case!!! How do you store it? Just let it get thrown in the back of the truck and bounce around? Let it get dirty from the elements? I should have known by all the reconditioned ones for sale. This is the last corporate Porter Cable tool I will ever buy!!! Keep letting wall street design your tools for you!!

Dependable! Built 400 feet of 6' privacy fence using 6000+ nails. 65 posts, 195 rails, over 1000 pickets. One misfire and no jams. That tool save our butts. It was easy to use and reload. For the price, it's a great tool.

I am a carpenter and was very pleased to find this deal. I've used the gun daily for about a month now and it hasn't dissapointed. Best part is that this gun takes 30 degree nails so you can easily get them at a big box hardware store.Update:Have used this gun for over a year and have not had a single misfire. I did have an air leak in the head gasket early on but replaced it and haven't had a problem since. Gun is great but very, very loud.Updated Update:I’ve had this gun for years, treated it like dirt and it’s still going strong. It just doesn’t make sense and its one of the most affordable guns on the market.

Cant say anything on the nailer yet, just got it. BUT: I paid for a new nailer and received refurbished unit with scratches all over it and its case and even with a sticker on the handle "reconditioned in Mexico quality and safety seal 2/2014"! Go figure. i am contacting amazon and demanding refund of the price difference between new and refurbished or returning it altogether otherwise.Update: The nailer is great, when you get the right one.Since then returned the nailer and got new one in two days, brand new in the plastic carry case. The nailer is very good. Framed a some soffits and a bit of a wall in the basement remodelling project. Works great, never misses or jams, used passload 34degree nails. It needs a decent compressor to work continuously, my puny one for finishing projects is not adequate if you want to do a large job, but for small jobs its ok.
