Great price for a great product from Portkeys. Really reduces weight on my handheld rig. Seems well built enough to last a while. I would recommend this to anyone looking to consolidate batteries on their rig.

I use this on my portkeys monitor and hollyland transmitter. Just one cable instead of two and i can usb c out if i have to power a third smaller device like a focus motor. I would recommend

Wenn man mal anfängt stromfressendes Zubehör um seine Kamera zu scharen, dann gerät die Akku-Situation ziemlich rasch außer Kontrolle. Für jedes neue Teil benötigt man wieder einen oder mehrere NP-F Teile und so praktisch diese Akkus auch sind, allein das Lademanagement kann schon logistisch richtig aufwendig werden.Mit diesem Teil wird die Komplexität wieder ein wenig überschaubarer. Es täuscht den stromhungrigen Feldmonitoren, Videolichtern usw. nur vor, ein janusköpfiger NP-F Akku zu sein, aber über Kabel (D-Tap oder USB-C) zieht es heimlich Saft von beliebigen anderen potenziell viel ergiebigeren Quellen.Fantastisch…

Accessorio leggerissimo che semplifica la struttura di alcuni rig. Particolarmente utile lo snodo, non presenta cavi interni ma contatti "struscianti". Applicazione tipica è quella del trasmettitore video alle spalle di un monitor da campo, oppure di un faretto alle spalle del monitor. Ingresso di alimentazione tramite D-Tap con connettore DC con filettatura di sicurezza, oppure tramite USB-C.

Ideal para quienes trabajan con equipos de video y necesitan una fuente de energía en el set. Su diseño de doble cara permite montarlo como si fueran dos baterías NP-F, lo que es muy práctico para conectar una cámara y un monitor al mismo tiempo durante las grabaciones. Solo por esa función, ya hay muchos videografos que lo van a considerar seriamente. La flexibilidad de montaje es otro punto a favor, ya que se puede instalar vertical o en horizontal según como se tenga organizado el equipo, adaptándose a diferentes configuraciones sin tener que hacer inventos.El sistema de ensamblaje es rápido y seguro, una gran ventaja cuando se va con prisa o se necesita cambiar la disposición del equipo sobre la marcha. En cuanto a la conectividad, cuenta con un puerto tipo C y otro DC de 7 a 24V, lo que da opciones para cargarlo con diferentes sistemas de alimentacion. Por ejemplo, se puede conectar a un power bank a través del USB-C y funciona sin problemas, y viendo como están evolucionando los powerbanks parece una opcion cada vez mas interesante. Las salidas de 8.4V y 7-24V cubren prácticamente todas las necesidades de alimentación para equipos profesionales, lo que lo hace compatible con una gama muy amplia de equipos. Si he notado que puede calentarse un poco con uso prolongado, aunque no parece afectar a su rendimiento hasta la fecha.En general, este módulo de batería es una solución muy conveniente para trabajar con equipos de video en exteriores o en situaciones donde no se tiene acceso a la red eléctrica, quitando preocupaciones por las baterías tradicionales que suelen durar poco tiempo, sobre todo si las comparamos con los nuevos equipos.

「こういうものが欲しかった！」という便利でありがたい製品です。ただし1点だけ注意点があります、NP-Fバッテリーは接点側の真ん中に溝があるのですが、この製品には溝がありません。そのためBlackmagicVideoAssistのような機器側のバッテリーをつける部分にその溝に沿った山が作られている製品ではこの製品をつけることができません。このBD-1と一緒に使用したい機器に溝がないタイプかどうかだけご確認してからお使いください。

Unfortunately the D/C port is so deep that most cables don't reach it and won't power the device. The provided cable works but is a dtap cable, so if that's not what you need you're SOL.

Standard npf batteries have an indent or cut out between the terminals making it UNUSABLE for nearly all my npf battery devices. They simply cannot click into place.Perhaps a can cut it out myself, but that depends on whether a circuit board is in the way it not.Amazing idea, underwhelming execution.

I initially thought that being able control the direction of the cord coming off my monitor would be beneficial. I later learned I should have looked at the design more closely. Here's what I found:- in a baffling move, the two pieces each have their own voltage regulation. If I had noticed that, I wouldn't. have bothered...because that means only one variation actually allows for changing orientation. If you use the other...you are stuck to the normal top-cord, and the entire design idea becomes moot- there seems to be a fault in mine, as the variable voltage side always reads as dead battery. the regulated side reads fine, however.- the price and the build quality are a mismatch. I have several several adapters of the standard design which are far more rugged builds, but cost much much less. this one is all plastic, and not particularly good plastic- the screw mount that keeps the two pieces together is extremely short...meaning you don't have much thread contact ( I don't think its even a full turn) holding them together, and it is a bit fidgety work the screwOverall, knowing what I do now, I would not get this again, nor recommend it. Mine only half works properly, but even then I'm not sure I trust the build quality to use it at all. There are much better options available for less money.
