Dishes do not fit properly into my Miele dishwasher so I would not buy these again.

The Portmeirion Sophie Conran Coupe Plate is a high-quality plate that is perfect for any occasion.The plate is made of porcelain and is both dishwasher and microwave safe, which makes it very practical. I particularly appreciate that this plate is also oven safe, which makes cooking and serving meals a breeze. The design is elegant, and the plate has a nice weight to it.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase of the Portmeirion Sophie Conran Coupe Plate, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

I love these plates they are very versatile, very sturdy, yet recyclable and compostable these could be used for at home parties even weddings they look very contemporary and not cheap at all These come in the perfect size for cake servings, hors d’oeuvres happy hour snacks or even just grabbing a bite to eat while at home. I use mine for my kids plates so I don’t use a whole adult size one saves on paper, waste dishes and trash waste. you get so many for the price

These dishes are very popular. They are well priced and attractive and wear well- they do not chip easily and don’t become scratched over time. Lovely contemporary design for everyday use.

I like the way these plates look. The edges of the plates are turned up and the center of the plate has ridges as a design feature. The plates have a nice weight and would be good for any occasion.These plates are a good size for appetizers, and for small servings. If this plate was used for a green salad the edges might help to keep the salad from flipping off the side.I do think this is a good quality plate but the price is high.

These are nice little 6.5 inch diameter plates. Even with inflation, the 15 dollar price point for a plate this size seems a bit high, especially if it's not named Denby (UK), Fiesta (USA), or Mikasa (EU). However, I've more and more been seeing some higher-end housewares being produced in China, so if these are in fact solid porcelain, then the price point might NOT be too outrageous.In the past I've strictly said "no" to purchasing any Chinese dinnerware, since those were almost exclusively cheap products, commonly seen in discount department stores, and they were not very durable (breaking or chipping too easily with normal use). More importantly, I certainly didn't want to EAT off cheap Asian dishes, fearing the lack of environmental standards and regulations in that part of the world, and being strongly motivated to avoid any slow toxic poisoning from whatever dangerous colors & chemicals the manufacturers could potentially be using to cut their costs. These will be the first Chinese made plates in my home for well over 20 years (not including a few plates I've picked-up along the way to place underneath houseplants); I've been primarily using Japanese stoneware or American Fiestaware for about as long as I've been a working adult making his own purchasing decisions.That being said, these plates feel solid and they look really nice. I like the irregularity of the plate edges (perfectly shaped circular plates have too much of a machine-made appearance). I like that they are white (for the reasons previously discussed, I'd not have ordered these in any other color). The circular ripples are stylish and remind me of my Denby ridged pasta bowls.It didn't affect my rating at all, but I do not consider these to be SALAD plates in any way, shape or form. When I purchase dinnerware I don't bother wasting my money on traditional 7.5 to 8.5 inch salad plates (they are almost worthless to me, other than setting out crackers & cheese, or a sliced-up apple), since even THOSE are way too small for a real salad. As far as I'm concerned, anyone using such tiny plates for their salad is simply not eating enough greens (I use 10 inch wooden BOWLS for my salads at home). But for a small slice of pie or cake, these plates will be plenty functional.

I am so over large dinner plates and really like this size. For me, these plates will be used for everything! It is the perfect size for pancakes, a breakfast sandwich and really, anything breakfast related! Sandwiches, salads, and yes, desserts - you name it, they are a great option for small plate servings and hey, if you want more? Then you can have seconds. The plates arrived very well packed, as anything from Portmeirion is, they are secured heavily in their box with padding and cardboard around them, and are boxed individually with additional tightly wrapped bubble wrap. It would be nearly impossible to open a box to a broken plate. The weight is nicely balanced in the hand and they heat up nicely in the microwave without getting overly hot. I love the design with the wavy/uneven edge, it actually makes for a better grip for me - I am not one to sit at a table to eat, my food comes with me to the sofa! And, the swirl design is a nice classic touch of extra design. These plates may be a bit pricier than others however, the quality and design of Portmeirion porcelain will stand the test of time and I look forward to many years of use!

These plates are very sturdy and feel very nice and substantial in the hand. The design is beautifully subtle and easy to fit into many other kitchen designs. The finish on the surface is very smooth and clean. I like that the edges are slightly curled up to keep things on the plate better. The fact that these are microwavable and freezer-safe is awesome. I included pics of an average fork/knife, and a few tortilla chips with a large pear, so you can see the relative size of the plates. Overall a really high quality, pretty dish set.

These are great little dessert plates. Very good quality. A nice alternative to the plain white, as these plates have a unique design.
