I'm using them to square the corners of cabinets I am making for a shed. They are sturdy enough and make squaring the corners easy. Just have to alternate tightening the clamps so the plastic doesn't break. They are plastic so they are not as strong as steel. You can't close a large gap by prying against the square. But they take a decent amount of force without distorting. Very good for the price. The small set is tiny, so only good for things like picture frames or small drawers. The bigger set is working fine on four-foot wide cabinets. Much easier than measuring diagonals and adjusting.
