The mirror came unglued from its portion and one of the knobs fell off. There is some damage to the wood. It has red streaks where the paint has come off. I don’t think it was worth how much I paid for it but it will have to do.

I always hesitate to purchase something that requires assembly. Way too often the directions are poorly written and almost too hard to read without a magnifying glass. Not with this company! The instructions were clear with great diagrams and it even had a toll free number if you had problems with assembly. The most difficult part of the task was releasing it from its packing material. Extra well packed and protected! The jewelry case went together easily and looks awesome. Also should mention that it seems to be very well constructed and sturdy. No problems with fighting to get screws lined up.

I bought this product knowing that it would not be of the highest quality, but I expected better than what I received.First off, I will say that it was well packaged, and though there was damage to the box, there was no structural damage to the armoire. It was easy to assemble, and they were kind enough to include extra hardware. The mirror was intact, and while I do not care for the intentional ‘distressing’ on the armoire, (looks like it was lightly sanded then sharpied red), it looks okay and I can live with it. The legs on this product are solid, and are easily attached to the body of the armoire (although one of them was maybe 1/8” shorter than the other 3).However, that’s where the issues start. The support structures under the decorative trim of the armoire are severely split, and would take no effort to snap off. The drawers looked like they were all stabbed by a fork, where the nails went in, which damaged the sides of the drawers. Inside the drawers, where the separators would meet the center of the front of the drawer, there is a gap because of the round-headed screw used on the drawer handles. One of the necklace hanger bars is only being held on by the glue that is holding the felt to the bar, as the screws used to attach it are not long enough to get to the back board. The other side is fine and sturdy, I’m not sure why this one side was lacking. There were numerous chips in the composite board, as I think whatever paint they used made the surface brittle and prone to chipping rather than scuffing or scratching. The pilot holes used for attaching the lid to the hinge were off center, and I ended up drilling my own with the smallest drill bit I could find. The lid also does not go back at a far enough angle to see anything but your midriff, and so you will end up crouching if you are any taller than 4 ft tall. There was a massive sticker (4”x 6 or 7”) on the right necklace cabinet door, but it was easily removed due to the eggshell finish of the paint. All in all, a workable, decent looking jewelry armoire, but not without it’s issues. I considered returning it due to the reasons listed above, along with some other workmanship issues, but the hassle wasn’t worth it, and i needed a jewelry armoire and this one worked well enough (along with being one of the only black armoires not over $400). It would make a decent gift, but don't expect it to be a super high quality gift.

This was easy for me to put together, only took about a half hour. It is very sturdy and looks very nice in my room. Holds a decent amount of jewelry. No missing pieces or scratches. Overall very happy with the quality and the price!

I had always wanted a jewelry armoire, but didn't want to spend a ton of $$ for one. The reviews for this product were 50/50....some people loved it....others, not so much. Because it was only $88 at the time, I figured I'd give it a shot, and if worse came to worse, I'd return it. I received it surprisingly quick and opened the box right away. It was packed very protectively and was super easy to put the legs on. It is a bit top heavy, but, they actually have a chain on the back of it to attach to the wall so it won't fall over. I didn't think it was that bad, so I didn't attach it....but the option is there just in case. There was a faint varnish smell, which has gone away already. They drawers are roomy....two of them are sectioned...the others are are not. The top opens for more storage and has a ring section as well....there's also a mirror. And lastly the sides open to hooked cabinets for hanging necklaces. A ton of storage in this thing and it is beautiful....matches my bedroom set perfectly. Couldn't be happier! It was exactly what I wanted....beautiful and inexpensive----and loads of storage!

This is a fabulous Jewelry Armoire. If your countertop jewelry box is overflowing, then this Armoire might just be what the doctor ordered.PICSI have posted quite a few pics... as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.THE CAVEATS1. There are no individual length-wise compartments for bracelets.2. There are no individual small-size boxed compartments for earrings.SUMMARYOther than the two caveats, I love this jewelry armoire. Easy to put together... took all of 10-minutes. You will need only a Phillips-head screwdriver for the Legs and the Mirrored Lid. And that's it.Oh, and you'll probably want to use a Lint-Brush as there will probably be dust from the manufacturing process/warehousing/shipping; and bits of styrofoam from the packing. It cleans-up very nicely.I got this on-sale, and it's worth every penny... especially when you look at the price of other Jewelry Armoires. Of course, the cost of the others is because they are usually larger thus holding more jewelry. I would call this an intermediate Armoire... a perfect size for organizing an overflowing jewelry box, and a lovely addition to one's decor, *s*.
