These actuators have been reliable replacements for the OEM actuator on my 2000 Ford F150. Electrical and mounting connections are solid.

Look good, installed good and worked for a while. 6 months later my passenger door just makes a grinding noise when I hit the lock or unlock button.

I figured in time the other lock actuators will go too, but I replaced the passenger side and it works terrific! Very happy so far with the purchase of these.

Needed to replace the lock actuators as the OEM’s were tired and didn’t lock with my new alarm. Installed in my 1999 f250 superduty, the door design makes it impossible to see what your doing while installing these, used a Bore Scope camera, and removed outer door handle to get it done.. not easy, but not impossible to install. Actuator’s work great, would recomend these to anyone willing to make the effort to self install.

These slide right into the notches on the backside of the latch assembly; there's absolutely no need to remove the latch. Plenty of YouTube videos to show you how. Use a dental mirror if needed to get them ligned up; spraying a little silicone on the flanges helps, too. Easy fix - easier on the second one, once you've figured it out.
