I added this knob to one of my Shimano Stradic 2500 reels. It is easy to install, fits perfect and is very functional. This makes reeling in big fish much easier. It is comfortable and looks great. This is a great addition to a spinning rod setup. It is a good value and I am enjoying fishing with it.

This reael handle knob mounts very easily, just screw it on, and is large enough to really help one with larger hands to feel the gear and use it. I recommend this knob.

While these are meant to be stock replacements for Shimano and Daiwa knobs, with a 5mm bit and some green loctite they'll fit most reels that have the right proportions. This is an Abu handle for my 6500 thats gone from a wobbly knob that is a known issue- to a butterg smooth power handle that still has good balance and feels great. This is a great match as some heavy knobs will cause the handle to rotate while casting. The weight of this is great and has a sharp look while keeping the weight where it balances well.Putting it on a Daiwa or Shimano is simply easier but if you want a power knob or just need to replace something this is a great choice.

The product is in good quality, comparable to Gomexus, very similar design as the twinpower reel’s knob. It fits really well on shimano stradic, but not so well on Daiwa Fuego, there is a little seam left between the knob and the handle (see picture).

Most all recent Daiwa spinning reels, except for the larger saltwater reels, have the "Type S" handle knob shaft. If you're unsure, take your current knob off and measure the diameter of the shaft (not the screw). If it's 4mm then Type S, if 5mm then Type L. This beautiful knob will go on my Daiwa Fuego LT 4000 spinning reel. With a very nice finish, the red and black color match my reel perfectly. I received everything exactly as described in the listing.Update: Bummers. It seems my Daiwa Fuego LT 4000 spinning reel is not made with a removable handle knob; it has a pin instead of a shaft and screw. So, this knob got installed on a Daiwa 23 Legalis LT 3000-CXH spinning reel. I purchased all my Legalis reels from Japan, and I was informed that Fuego reels are the same as Legalis reels, with added salt water protection, and sold in the U.S.; I don't think you can get 23 Legalis in the U.S. marketplace. My mistake. I hope I didn't mislead anyone into buying this knob for a Fuego reel. Please check that the knob on your reel is removable before trying to upgrade it.

This would be a very good addition to your reel …..if it fits. Unfortunately this did not fit my reel. But it is easy to see this would be a great aid, especially if you were reeling in a larger fish. I think as long as you stick to type of reels listed in the description you’d be pleased with this. You’ll have better control as retrieve your line…..hopefully with a fish on the other end!
