We are Ryobi fans but not Ryobi snobs. If you build a better product, we don't care if it doesn't have the Ryobi logo on it. That's exactly the case with this inverter. We already own and frequently use the Ryobi version. Here are a few reasons why this one is FAR superior to the Ryobi one:1. The Ryobi one has all the battery weight on one side and tends to fall over easily. This one is well-balanced and sturdy.2. The Ryobi version would have to use a 12ah battery (too expensive) to give us the longevity we want, even for running a CPAP through the night. We can run two cheaper lower ah batteries with better results PLUS hot swap if needed without losing power to a device.3. The light is far superior - brighter, broader, better placement.4. The LCD display shows power consumption and accurate voltage.5. The fan is quieter.6. It has a 12V 5A plug that the Ryobi one lacks. That will come in handy for running a portable ham radio station from it.I get that a Ryobi one is only a little more expensive or in some cases less expensive, but this unit is FAR superior to the Ryobi one. Don't hesitate to pick one up!

I used this for camping. It helped power my karaoke speaker and mics. Also charged phones. I did add a multi outlet plug. I brought four batteries and they lasted 3 days. Probably 20 hours total. Well worth it for now.
