Nightmare. Not a correct replacement for 2003 chevy Silverado 2500 hd. Amazon needs to change the " fits your vehicle" designation to, Will cause misery if you try to install it. The physical location and dimensions of the connection points are correct, that is true, beyond that, nothing else is right. The ratio of turns of the steering wheel to rotation of the pitman spline are quite different. 4.5 turns for full range as compared to about 3 on the original. The key on the spline does not align properly with the with the one on the pitman arm resulting in the steering wheel being sideways when going straight, and last, the mounting threads in the unit were not the same as the original so I couldn't use the original bolts. So, I finish as I started, NGHTMARE, do not buy. Oh, one more thing, it seems to be rather under powered for my vehicle. There could still be some air in the system affecting performance, so I guess that's not definitive, but it doesn't look good.Update. It's definitively under powered for my truck. The gears appear to be pretty worn as the steering is quite loose. Also, it blew a seal in less than 3 days before I could even get a proper replacement. I don't know how this episode could have been any worse.
