I purchased 2 of these to use for light/medium maintenance on my vehicles. They're a bit smallish for the pick-up truck but excellent for the cars. If you're a full time mechanic, I'd recommend a larger & heavier product, but for home use for the occasional auto maint., these are excellent! I'd recommend to friends & family!

In American movies, when working on cars they always seem to have some sort of blanket that they lean over the bonnet so that they keep their arms clean and prevent scratches from tools. The 'Powerbuilt 640083 Fender Cover' lets you live like the movies! Just not the most exciting ones. This cover comes nicely packaged in a tight reusable bag - it will never fold quite as nicely again, but it is plenty small enough to fit in the side part of a boot or alongside you spare wheel. The cover is a padded vinyl meaning that when it sits on the car it does not scratch it and easy to clean should you get it a little dirty. What is surprising with the 'Powerbuilt' is that it is a decent size. It covers the corner of your car easily and there is plenty of room to rest tools on it as well as be able to lean over it. A nice tool for someone who tinkers with cars often, or finds themselves breaking down more than they hoped.

As you do, sometimes you need to flip the bonnet on your car up and have a look. This product is definitely the one for those moments... why? Because it's going to protect the front of the car from getting scratched up. Handy. The product arrives well packaged and is really heavy and durable - obviously made for lots of use! We tested it out on the car and it's lovely and long and is easy to place around the fender (the front of the car... you know...) and yes, it protects it and keeps it safe. I would say this is an essential thing to keep in the garage, for sure!

Excellent cover for the paintwork on the WING of our classic cars. We spend quite some time caring for our old motors and I am always aware that tools and fluids can damage the pristine paintwork. This is certainly a help. It folds away in a reasonably small packet, the original packaging is excellent to keep it in and when required, it will cover an area just over three foot by just over two foot - nearly the whole wing on an MGB!Tools can be left handy on the wing without worrying it will damage the paint, and there are ridges in the material to prevent tools slipping off. The underside is a cotton fleece, the worst that it could do is give it an extra polish.

Great fender covers, especially considering the price. I'd give these a 4 star review, but I added a star for value. They are smaller than the more traditional rubberized fender covers I'm used to. They fold up nicely for storage when not in use. I've been working on my 1985 BMW 325e and these are perfect - one for each fender. I've got a large F150 and these would be good for localized leaning or tool holding, but I wouldn't expect it to be a cover-all for any sort of tool drop mishap I might have in that scenario.

I trusted the reviews when I made this purchase (which sometimes does not work as well as it should) and I agree with them. This fender cover is well made of good materials and is as thick and padded as you can expect for a price like this. Basically, it works and should last for quite a while, at a price far less than what other fender covers are going for (some of which apparently are nowhere near as good as these). It does not have magnets sewn in, but still clung well to the sides of my car so long as I kept at least 50% of it on *top* of the fender. It would be easy enough to duct tape a few magnets to it if you needed them. I ended up buying a second on so I can go from one side of the car to the other without having to move the cover.

Well made and quite supple, molded great to a couple cars and stays in place. It has a soft cotton back and vinyl front. For what I paid for this and then free prime shipping, you just cannot go wrong. I would recommend this to anyone looking a decent fender cover for a great price!

At first i was not to sure to order this fender cover but i give it a try and let me tell you this item it's nice and helps to protect your car paint and keeps the tools in place and easy to find them. The item it's not like the expensive fender cover out there but it does the job and if you need it for easy jobs oil change and other easy jobs you have no problem it's easy to fold and put away for the next job im for sure to order a couple more they make a great gift as well over all i highly recommended for the price it's a great deal.

This product does what it says and seems to protect the fender well enough, it just turned out to be smaller then I expected. That being said, the dimensions are given in the description so it's not a knock on the product I should have realized the size when purchasing.I bought two of these and they are just a little small for my 96 Trans Am but are getting the job done and when you look at how inexpensive they are it is a very good value. I'd say these would be perfect for compact and small cars, good for mid size and small for anything larger. I'd buy again!
