My 2015 petrol Civic was not firing on cylinder #1. After spending £150 on 4 new plugs and a stick coil the issue was unchanged. Removed the fuel rail and injectors. On all 4 injectors the brown plastic washer/filter at the top had disintegrated and fallen into the injector. Ordered 4 recon injectors from InjectorXpert. Meanwhile I worried it might be an injector wiring or ECU output transistor problem, my Fluke DMM showed +14V DC (engine running) on one female receptacle in the #1 injector plug and a pulsing ground on the other but I could not seen the pulses as clearly as I would have liked due to DMM LCD display update time. Used the first of the LED gadgets in this kit plugged into the wiring harness for cylinder #1 and got a regular flashing light. Was then happy the signal to the injector was good. Happy to pay for this kit just to get this result. Car now fully fixed I may never need this again but still good to keep just in case. BTW, a warning. Do not be tempted to try using a 12v filament bulb test light instead of this LED kit. Might be OK but if it sinks too much current you might just damage the output transistor in you ECU.

Great value for the money. Not only was I able to diagnose that my fuel system was working correctly, I was able to use these to chase down a coil misfire I was having. I plug one of the lights into the coil harness to see if it was getting any signal to fire the coil. It was not, and I was able to back trace the problem to the ECU. Saved me a lot of headaches of performing other test. Great inexpensive tool to have in your box!
