This product was exactly what I needed when I decided to create my first online course on the Udemy platform. It clips on easily, has very good good sound quality, and simple to connect. I highly recommend it

You will get thea zipper pouch, cool magenta, microphone, extended caple, and the 4 pin to 3 pin adapter which was a life saver.I tried to conect the mic to my GoPro hero 9 throw the media mod but it didn't work then I bought another mic same problem. However I noticed there is adapter and there is a writing which said:4 to 3PIN adapter for PC/laptop/camera/voice recorder.I used the adapter with my media mod and omg it worked. If only I noticed this adapter before buying another microphone 🤦♂️.So my rating is for good quality, packaging, and including an adapter and extended cable was a plus for sure.

The first one I purchased failed after 2 uses. I contacted the seller and they replied within 5 minutes. I had a replacement shipped to my house within a few days for no additional charge. So far the replacement mic is working well. This mic is very sensitive in comparison to a laptop or tablet mic and has very good sound quality. It can pick up my voice from several feet away even when speaking softly (of course it helped that I tried this in a quiet room).Be aware, if you use it on a smartphone, Apple or Android, once connected you will not get any sound output. These devices treat the mic as a headset, but of course it has no output. I have not yet checked the app stores to see if there might be an app that could get around this limitation. On a computer, though, you can use this for audio input while using another device for output (assuming your computer has the correct hardware to do so). The caveat is that not all audio jacks are the same so you may need to use an included adapter (adapts the connector to TRS instead of TRRS). In addition, the operating system might get confused (I had different results on each Win 10 computer I plugged this into!). Honestly, if your primary use is computer (PC or Mac) you're probably better off getting a USB based mic - it will likely be less hassle. That said, I am happy with this purchase, particularly because of the customer service. I plan to use it for video conferencing meetings and presentations.

I've been dealing with a crappy lapel mic for some time that had a really thin wire. Every time I used it, the subject's movements would be picked up by the wire, and I had to resort to using a condenser mic placed within a couple feet, then adjust my shots so that the mic didn't get picked up. Holy cow, what a hassle. And then, the heavens parted and light from God above shone down to reveal this PowerDeWise lapel mic. At $40, I figured I had nothing to lose; if it didn't work, I could always return it.It worked. And man, it worked VERY WELL.Featuring plug-in power so that you can use it while connected to your cell phone, tablet, or laptop, the output on this mic is at a high level with clean audio and very nice noise reduction. I've been able to get great speaking audio out of this mic, and with the 4-pin to 3-pin adapter, I can use it with a wireless transmitter/receiver set to connect to an audio recorder or mixing board. I'm waiting on an XLR-to-3.5mm adapter that transforms from Phantom power to plug-in power so that I can use it directly with the audio recorder and bypass the wireless transmitter, but those ones I've been recommended are on backorder. So hopefully those will work just fine. The 6-foot cable length is perfect for my own personal podcast recording, and the included 6-foot extension cable is a nice addition. They could have easily packaged that separately and charged more for it, but it's wonderful that they included it here. I bought one for my own personal use, and a few days later, bought a second for my professional job. At $40, you simply cannot go wrong with this, especially if you're looking for something solid that you can use in quick and easy applications. Highly recommended.

HELLO! CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? I bought this to use with my LG G2 smartphone. It's plug and go. No messing around with settings. No additional cables or adapters needed. It just works.Value:This is important. You'll see all these smartphone mics online. All basically identical. Just rebranded most likely. So why did I chose this? Well. that 2m extension cable is handy and has some value. For my use, I knew I'd need to use that cable and some point. Buying that cable on its own would add some additional cost. You save by getting the two together. The carrying bag is great quality, in my opinion. Handy for carrying the mic and other small accessories.-I knocked off a star for build quality. The mic itself is built quite well. The wire looks like it'll hold up over time. The extension cord on the other hand, not so much. I've had wires of similar quality in the past. I'd bet it doesn't hold up for more than a year of use. If that's not a concern, this is still great value.Quality:-Now this is where it gets tricky. One thing to keep in mind. If you're comparing this to those other lav mics which work with smartphones, they're all going to have similar if not the same sound. This sounds really good and clear. It's hard to describe sound quality because it's biased. It just sounds good if placed in the correct location.-However, this is a little too sensitive for my use. I have a very unique use. I needed this for motovlogging. That's when you stick a mic in your helmet a camera on your motorcycle, and you rant about your day. It's fun stuff. As you can imagine though, you don't want the most sensitive mic. NAY. You want something that basically just picks up your voice. Low quality if you will. So if anything this is too good. It picks up too much wind and gets distorted fast. Because of that, it doesn't work well for ME. For others this is probably just fine.Summary:Overall for a mic that works out of the box for a smartphone, used for everyday, normal uses, this is probably one of the best values out there. I'd recommend this for a budget external mic that is guaranteed to work with most smartphones. For the price and what it offers, it's excellent value. For certain, odd/loud uses, this probably won't work.I hope this helps!
