We have had ours for over a year. I absolutely love this thing. Love it so much I purchased 4 more of them. Lol. Out of the 5, one of them lasted 6 months. The light still works the solar panel did not. This is absolutely one of them set it and forget it products. If you have the space get the bigger one, you won't regret. You must clean it at least once a week. No big deal, turn the light off and use your water hose, let it dry for about 5 minutes then turn your light back to the auto position. Done. The other one is the smaller one. It works great as well.

Only handful products deliver what they promise online, this was on such product, for size please don’t go by the pics but check the actual size mentioned, the product was inline with the stated specifications.

So, I'd like the construction to be a little heavier duty. Has a little too much clankiness about it. BUT, it is destroying some bugs. And it actually ZAPS. I was skeptical, because I've had other "zappers" that didn't zap. Thry just heated up a metal grill and tried to lure bugs onto it. It doesn't seem to have the blue lightning/laser beam effect that I remember from the old school ones, but there's a pop and a spark when it gets one. And the grill fills up with bugs pretty fast. I Dig It.

It arrives. I unbox and flip the switch. Nothing! OK, maybe needs a charge. Put it in the window for a bit. Still nothing, then It catches my eye. The trace on the solar panel is out of place and not connected on one end. I connect a multi-meter. Solar Panel DEAD. So I connect USB to the panel. Completely DEAD.Maybe this is the LEMON that slipped through the cracks? Don't know.

This seems like it works very well, it's out there all night zapping bugs (I can hear it go off). It also recharges automatically during the day just fine it seems. Two things are wrong with this item though which I'm docking a star for. One is the instructions are poor. So poor that they really don't actually exist. I had to look at the online sales page here at Amazon to find out that you set it to the 'II' mode on the switch if you want it to auto switch on at dusk. The other problem here is that the cord to recharge it has a proprietary 12v plug pin. I know I'm going to lose that cord immediately. It's a USB cord on the 'power' side, so why not a USB-C or something on the side going into the zapper? Or attach the USB cord to the zapper itself so I can't lose it maybe.Other than those two things this zapper looks like it works great and hopefully will help sort out the mosquitos and flies.
