This is our second powernet. Got several good years of use out of the first one. Don't leave it set up outside and it will last several years. Very comparable to other brands, we have used. Works well for the price.

This has been very useful for our 17 and 15 year olds both for batting and pitching practice. Very easy to disassemble and assemble. We are in a pretty high wind area at times and have had no issues. Boy plays Quad A baseball and I can’t imagine they would need anything more or better than this net for home or away practice.

A truly excellent product. I purchased the PowerNet after a terrible experience with an Easton "quick set up" net that was terrible. The PowerNet is great because it's fast and easy to assemble so my son and I can even make time to play after school on short winter days in the offseason, before losing daylight. We use it for hitting off the tee, as well as fielding drills where we pretend it's the cut-off man or position base player. We've set up and disassembled the net about 50 times so far and it shows no signs of wear whatsoever. The rods still connect tightly, the net seams are intact, and the base is tight fitting and true to form. The legs are durable and keep the net steady. It came with stakes, but my son is a small 13 year old, so he's able to take swings from the tee into the net without staking it down. If and when the time comes that we need to stake it, we'll purchase better stakes, as the ones that are included are pretty flimsy. That's literally my only complaint, and a small one at that. The carrying case is convenient and large enough that it can hold a few extra items, like the top portion of the batting tee, a rubber mallot for the stakes, and an extra bat.Overall, I enthusiastically recommend the PowerNet practice net. It has been a great addition to our practice regimen.

We have had some time to use this net.Pros: Easy to set up and take down, very durable, netting is holding up nicely from spending time indoors and outdoors, tall enough to catch the pop fly's when doing soft toss or hitting off of the tee, nice carry/storage bag (although ours is rarely in it).Cons: It comes with stakes to anchor it down, however, we use it on the concrete so these do not work. We get windy where we are and it does blow over. Multiple times!Solution: We use leg weights for pop-up canopy tents. We place 2-4 (depending on the wind) on the legs. They do not interfere with play at all. We haven't used the provided stakes at all as the leg weights are perfect on grass or concrete and they are lightweight.Someone asked about it being used as a backstop for a catcher. Our daughter hits into it with soft toss or tee. She also puts on her catchers gear and gets in front of it. I will pitch to her (semi-fast) and if she misses it, the net will stop it. This is perfect for outdoor. Inside we use a different method when it is used for catching. This is only because we are limited on space and I don't want softballs being rammed into the wooden walls or doors in the barn. We use stacked boxes (2 rows side by side) (um.. girl scout cookie boxes that are broken down work great for us!) and put them along the wall. The net is placed in front of them with about 9 inches of space. When catching, if she misses, the ball will go into the net and then catch into or bounce off of the boxes, still remaining in the net.Another questions was if balls would go over for a taller athlete. If you hit it and it pops up, it will go over. We have hit it over and the distance you are away doesn't matter. A pop up is apop up and it will go over. Plan for it because if you don't something may get broken or you may be chasing a softball down a hill into the woods because you didn't plan for it! (Don't ask why we know this!) This has nothing to do with the design of the net. It is sufficiently tall enough and wide enough to accommodate almost all athlete sizes. We would definitely purchase this item again. I didn't realize about the part warranty until writing this review. We do have a leg cover missing so I will contact them to have this replaced. Likely it was already run over by the lawnmower during the summer and the parts are now buried under the snow!

Bought this for my kids to play and practice with in the backyard. They are 10 and 8 years old. It works fantastic. Easy setup and takedown. Performance is great. It handles every throw/hit the kids can deliver. I relied on the customer ratings when buying this product and glad I did. Price is significantly cheaper than some competitors. Great buy.
