So you don't want everyone seeing if you do or don't have things in the back area of your crossover and you own a Hyundai Ioniq5. Here's the answer and to prove they should have included it originally - go price one at the dealership after noticing the installation notches are already in the vehicle. So, yes the vehicle is made to have one and yes they are available for much more but this one works perfectly and is of good quality.

Fits Ioniq 5. No rattle or noise. It would have been better if the end where the handle is was a little longer so it has more coverage. So far it has held up in the hot summer weather.

What a pity that the ioniq 5 doesn't come with the trunk cover as a standard accessory.Fortunately there is alternate after-market cargo/trunk cover for less.This cargo/trunk cover fits, in short.Installation is a little bit tricky, it needs to be inclined at an angle to slide in the whole thing in the cargo area first, and then snap one and then the other end.I found out if both ends of the elastic locking mechanism can be longer, it will make the installation easier as both ends can be "compressed" further.Also, the contour shape near the "handle" isn't round or long enough, I can still see my stuffs in the trunk through the rear window, though it's not that obvious, only around 1~2 inch gap, so it's acceptable.I think as an after-market product, at a fraction of the OEM one cost, the overall quality is acceptable and it works as intended. Recommend if you want to save some extra money while it almost looks like the OEM one.

As a less expensive option than the factory version, this works on our 2023 Ioniq 5. It's a bit tight getting it into position, but doesn't take too much effort to install. So far, I've found that putting it in at an angle from the bottom while pushing it towards one side is the only way I've been able to get it snapped into place. The ends are capped with some felt-like material that helps to prevent scratches on the plastic when installing or removing it. I'd imagine that also helps with reducing any kind of rattling too, but it's snug enough when installed that I doubt that would be a problem anyway. Once, it's installed, opening and closing it is easy. It also latches into the factory hooks smoothly. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.
