Oil filter came shrink wrapped and seems to be identical in size to the John Deere part. Went on with no problems and no leaks. Gas filter was in bubble wrap and the housing is slightly opaque rather than clear like the John Deere part. But it fits a 1/4" fuel line and, once I got it primed, it seems to work just fine.

This product says it fits my mower, and it does, however, it is shorter than an OEM John Deere filter so that means it has less filter capacity. This might be ok, but I wouldn’t order it again.

After trying to get a filter at the box box store and rejecting the price of 11.00 for the oil filter, I checked Amazon and found this deal, works like a charm.
