These worked when other, softer steel products failed and began to strip. Sealed some difficult fittings. I would buy again.

have already started using these hose clamps. I have been working a lot with replacing, setting up and reinstalling an electric air compressor in my shop. I have also been doing a lot of work with pressurized garden sprayers and specialized spraying equipment. Many of the parts and accessories I have been using come from a local Tractor Supply Company.I was horrified one day when I went to use on of the forty-pack of assorted hose clamps that I purchased from Tractor Supply's "discount table". I can not imagine how angry I would be if I was really relying on those clamps to get me out of a serious breakdown situation. The "forty-pack" turned out to be garbage. Whenever a moderate amount of torque was applied to the hose clamp it failed. The band twisted and broke. The screw tore right through the soft metal of the hose clamp banding material. This was truly awful. I wrote the company and explained how shoddy the quality was. I have since seen similar reviews on "discounted" forty-pack hose clamps in other stores. At least I know now to stay away from any of that bargain basement junk especially when it comes to an item that I might really truly be relying on to get me out of trouble.I said all of that as a comparison to these high quality hose clamps that I have purchased from this seller. They are top shelf products and I have successfully used them in high pressure air hoses and high pressure water hoses. All repairs are doing well.

Reviewing the smaller sizes, with 1/4" screw size "mini clamp" ~ unlike many of the 1/4" drive "mini" clamps, these are really tough and superior in quality, strength and sealing capabilities. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! No reason to suspect the larger ones would be any less in excellence of craftsmanship. These can handle that "extra turn" to bring an end to the all too common dribbling hose or hissing air realized when using many of the Chinese and other imported clamps. Well worth the cost for a clamp that seals and STAYS sealed. No side tracking, slipping, stripping or jumping in the worm drive when cranking out that necessary extra turn.Another WIN! for Amazon!

The Precision Brand M4S Micro Seal, Miniature All Stainless Worm Gear Hose Clamp, is well made and is aligned with the quality that you would expect for the price of this product. The quality across the ten hose clamps contained in this order was consistent. There are no obvious sharp edges. This item arrived in a small (but appropriately sized) box, packaged within an evelope, the packing seems to be good enough to priotect the product.I intend using these hose clamps to fasten a cargo basket ( to my Specialized Sirrus bicycle, to the rear mounted .I purchased this product myself with no discount, I will update if these hose clamps have any issues with failing in the application that I intend to use them for.

At $4 for a 10pk I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could... One of those items that, once you get, you can't believe you ever went without them. I've been going around putting them on every hose that I'm even slightly concerned about... Fuel vapor lines that move just a little bit, an EXACTLY 7/8-inch O.D. (probably 3/4-inch I.D.) radiator hose (heater bypass hose) that was leaking a little coolant with the old spring-action hose clamps, and much more. They really hold when you tighten them down, and I haven't stripped one yet, as I have with some hose clamps. I did have one where the screw housing got loose, but was able to bend everything back into shape and keep on using it.For those larger hoses, you can even daisy-chain these. Two of these end-to-end will fit 1-3/4" hose, and three will hold a 2-5/8ths hose. It takes quite a bit of work bending them for the larger size, and a larger hose clamp is the better option, but it'll do, in a pinch, when you don't have the luxury.Nice and cheap and durable, with plenty of extras to carry around.

These are very high quality and very reasonably priced American made hose clamps. I went to Autozone and was appalled at the $4.99 price for 5 hose clamps that were made in China (read: junk) and were made of zinc coated steel. These clamps are 100% made of stainless, meaning they work perfect for my outdoor use of them. The most important thing is that the screw doesn't slip on the teeth in the clamp. Buy these hose clamps; not only will you save money but you will be supporting American jobs!
