I have not used these yet , but I can attest to the look of these rings . These rings are packaged very nicely , infact the nicest packing I have ever seen on a ring .Now that does not make them GOOD , but it is a nice start , if they take this time to package fine maybe they have a fine product as well . The package is clearly marked (they come in a plastic locking case )(yes really) with size and height marked . the case has rings with screws and tool and then has 2 extra screws just in case (love that) . Everything is held in its own place, so nothing is crashing around in the case, very well thought out if you ask me. Now all this talk about a package doesn't mean sh*t so let's look at the rings themselves .the rings come together held by screw just not tightened , the 2 halves of the rings are marked so that you know which way they are supposed to go and which cap goes to which base , that is a GREAT IDEA in my eyes , they are numbered like serial numbers and have the torque setting on the rings . Also the inner part where the scope contacts are machined , they are not black like the outside , it looks as if they were screwed together then had them trued up in a lave and the finish is shiny metal aluminum , I have mounted a lot of scopes with different rings and I have never seen such attention to detail as I have with these , they look impressive , like they weren't thrown together . As I stated I have not installed these yet but very soon , I have no doubt these will work and hold firm they are very robust .

I was surprised at the quality of these rings for the price. Orientation is important so look at the direction before you install. Holding a 50mm scope perfectly on the rifle. Comes with wrench and a couple extra screws if you have a tendency to drop them.

The 34mm is built like a tank and no scope creep or zero issues so far on a 30-06. I have 3 of these now including including 1" and 30mm on deer rifles (.308 and .270) and have held up after 1 season. I took away 1 star because all 3 sets of rings came with some very sticky substance inside the rings which I had to clean and it took a while to get it all out. I don't know why they ship them out like that.
