The product arrived packaged in a cardboard box to prevent creasing the sheets and that was very much appreciated. It is indeed a wonderful replacement to 18 or 36 count fabric for cross stitch, but since it is 18 stitches to the inch, the holes are super tiny. I started off using a #28 Bohin needle from France which is what I normally stitch with on 25 Count Dublin Linen, 36 Count Edinburgh Linen, or 40 Count Newcastle Linen and it’s a struggle to get that small needle through the holes. I’m using a John James #15 beading needle now and it is working much better. Other than having to experiment finding the right needle for this plastic canvas, this product is top notch … it is very strong, but still pliable … making it a wonderful addition to my stash!
