Pregmate pregnancy tests detect human pregnancy hormone in urine. This hormone is produced by the cells of the embryo that will later form the placenta.
Directions:
Hold the tip of the test in the urine stream for 10 seconds
OR
Dip the test into the urine for 5 seconds
Read results in 5 minutes
Positive: Two lines mean the test is positive and you are pregnant. The color intensity of the lines may vary since different stages of pregnancy have different concentrations of hormone. The hormone level increases as your pregnancy progresses.
If pregnancy hormone is present in your urine, you'll have a positive test result.
Negative: One line means the test is negative and you're not pregnant
Did you know?
The average implantation time is 9 days past ovulation. It takes 2-3 days after implantation for the embryo to make enough hormone for a home pregnancy test to work. That means the majority of women will not get a positive until 11 days past ovulation.

I bought mid-stream tests because I was going on a trip with family and had to test quickly and without raising suspicion. Unfortunately, testing mid-stream was a waste of time with these. There is plastic over the part you pee on, so when you hit it with your stream, your urine glances off of the test and splashes everywhere. Not enough got on the test to give me a result.My only other con is the plastic over the result screen. It makes seeing a faint line difficult because of light refracting off the plastic screen.Otherwise a good purchase.

I have to say I was iffy about them when I first purchased them but man was I wrong . I started testing at 9dpo by 10po I had my first faint positive.. by 12 dpo the line looks much darker. Same day I got a positive with these I used First response and let me tell you it didn’t pick up anything. The next day it came up but super faint while my pregomate was very positive. I recommend these for sure .. save your money with those expensive brands..

I just ordered 10 of these. I'm currently going through IUI and had to take a trigger shot. For the fun of it, I checked after the HCG injection and the test came up positive. It has now been 6 days since the HCG injection where most of the hormones leave your body and the test came out negative. This product clearly can detect whether or not levels of HCG are present in your urine stream. I can't wait to take this test as I get closer to the 2 week mark of finding out whether or not I'm actually pregnant.

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over a year (with multiple miscarriages), and these tests were a God send. Even though it has been so long, I get excited every late cycle and test more times than I can count. I've poured hundreds of dollars into pregnancy tests, and I am SO glad we have found Pregmate tests. I would compare these to FRER. They are not quite as sensitive as FRER, but they do give lines earlier than a missed period, and they have the same sort of shape / process time / results window. They are super affordable, high-quality tests that you can stock up on. I would highly recommend Pregmate Midstream Tests to anyone trying to conceive, especially those who like to test frequently.
