This said it fits a 2008 mercury Milan however it does not. The post to turn the wipers was smaller the fitting that goes over it and my return window closed. I assumed it would work and trusted them saying it would fit so did not rush install.

First, I waited far to long to change the pump. My bad, in my defense I'm giving it two stars because the build quality feels cheap and it didn't work. There were also no new nuts or anything but the motor in the box. If that wasn't enough, even though it not only looked virtually identical to the old one, while also having the correct part number, the spocket like fitting was half the size it needed to be. The one I got from advance Auto was unfortunately more expensive but perfect. Lesson learned, install it within the return window just in case you have the same issues I did.
