Purchased this this for my green cheek conure. He absolutely loves this. My bird loves this, and it has all natural ingredients, does not have a foul smell, and is a great value for money.

I’ve tried many bird foods, but Kiki’s seed stands out. With 16.2% protein and 7.04% fat, it offers more protein than ZuPreem (14%) and Harrison’s Adult Lifetime (14%), while keeping fat lower than Vita Prima (11%) and Harrison’s High Potency (12%). Plus, it’s corn, soy, and peanut-free, unlike many commercial mixes. The whole, husked seeds stay fresh longer and encourage natural foraging. My birds eat every single seed. I pair it with mostly fresh foods and some pellets for a balanced diet. Recommended :)

This seed mix contains a good variety of small seeds. I would consider our female Eclectus parrot to be medium sized but I think this seed mix is a bit on the small side for her. We are glad this is not loaded with sunflower seeds that most mixes seem to have as filler. Also it appears we did not need to freeze this bag to kill off any little flying insects like we have to do with box box store purchased seeds we get for her. We have not seen anything crawling in the bag or having lots of little flying insects so far.She seems to like this in her seed bowl or sprinkled over her wet food.

I love how fresh this seed mix is! I did a little sprouting test. One of the biggest signs of freshness is whether the seeds can actually sprout, and I’m happy to say that this mix germinates beautifully! Most sprouting/sproutable seed mix has some kind of legumes in it so it cannot be fed raw or dried, to make my routine simpler I always test to see if a normal dry mixx has good germination rate, if so I'd just use it for sprouts and or simply soaked seeds when I have the time to. My kitchen is about 72 degrees and these seeds sprouted within 2 days. Amazing!

I like this mix. I usually buy organic but was in a pinch so I tried something new, if there was an organic option I’d definitely switch permanently. This appears very quality, as in the seeds look fresh bright colored , there’s not a bunch of dust in the bag, i even flipped it upside down no dust there either . it smells fresh. Someone had reviewed making a big deal about the overpowering oregano smell saying it was unbearable & birds wouldn’t eat after awhile. I didn’t have that experience ,I thought the smell was very mild even sticking my nose right in the bag freshly opened. My grey gobbled it right up . I’d definitely recommend giving this a try.

I love that it’s corn and soy-free, also there is no sunflower seeds in there. fresh, whole seeds that stay super fresh thanks to the husks. The protein and fat balance is better than most other brands I’ve used, and my bird seem more active since I added it into her food. The herbs offer various benefits for our birds and those avian herbal teas are very expensive. Considering the cost of quality ingredients I think this product is well worth its price.

This food has the highest protein and lowest fat among other common seed mixes. I feed my bird seed mix + Harrison and surprised to find a brand of seed mixes that can be compared to Harrison’s pellet. This food is the best I have found for my conure and is recommended by my breeder. This not having sunflower seeds is supposed to be healthier and prevent fat build up around their heart. Also have no additive and dyes is also a plus. It also has a very balanced variety of seeds that is great at preventing my picky conure from eating only the fatty seeds. I’ll say my bird - Kiwi - approves!
