I ordered this Safety Coupler Pin 1/4" x 3.94" (6.3mm x 100mm) / Trailer Pin / Trailer Coupler Pin / Pin Shaft Locking Pin [with] Round Wire Lock so I could replace a small utility trailers existing bolt-and-nut "make-do," that keeps the trailers spring-loaded lock/latch from disengaging. The diameter of this "pin" is much thinner than the current bolt/nut "make-do;" however, its easier/quicker to remove. For long distance trips or traversing rough and bumpy backroads, I think a thicker diameter pin would be preferable.

These are typical safety coupler pins. They work and look just like others I have. They are not stainless so they will degrade over time. I recommend them.

Needed a back-up spare pin to hold a self-locking trailer hitch in place. This nicely wide pin does the trick. (Most are too narrow to get all the way through the trailer tongue.) Note that this *is* a fairly thin piece, so should probably *not* be used for any significant weight-bearing purpose. But as a backup, to keep the lock-down latch down, it is quite adequate (The usual pin is much thicker, but recently had the occasion to rent a trailer with no cotter pin, so resolved to keep one on the truck as a back-up.).

Not much you can say about something like this. It does its job. Seems like good quality metal and will hopefully hold up for years of use.

This size was just a hat I was looking for.Fits right in my zero turn and gives me the function I needed. Is good quality and holds on very well without compromising how easy is to put on

This works as it should. It seems to be made of a quality metal and we've had no problems with it.

This is an inexpensive coupler pin that I like having around as a spare. It is smaller than the one that came with my trailer in diameter but longer to make it more versatile. It says it is made of carbon steel and zinc plated, so it should be plenty strong enough to keep my hitch locked.

Made of steel that is zinc plated for corrosion resistance this should last for years. It is thick enough to handle the job it’s designed for the spring loaded clip holds the pin securely in place. Good value for the money.
