Finally a pizza peel that manages to lift the pizza without destroying it! The bamboo surface is durable, the handle is very comfortable, foldable and compact, it seems that they thought of all the little details.

I ordered my pizza peel new, and received a used product. There was oil and pizza dough on the fabric. The handle screws are missing. The original package did come with a spare unused fabric. Likely will return. 😑

I was excited to try this pizza peel out. I've seen similar ones in social media posts and thought it'd be a great addition to my kitchen arsenal. Unfortunately, this ones going to the reject pile with the other kitchen gadgets that don't reach their potential. The fabric doesn't have enough grip to pull a pizza onto the peel in my experience. The slider also lacks a way to keep the fabric from bunching up along the edge while in use. My last attempt resulted in my sliding my pizza to the very back of the oven. I'll stick with my regular pizza peel, less work.

This isn't a great gift idea, unless you want to unbox it and assemble it for its recipient. (Picture 2.) The assembly is not helped much by the "instructions." (Picture 6.)The knobs don't match the dark finish in the product photo -- they're the same color as the rest of the bamboo ply. They are drilled off-center, at wonky angles, so they don't seat flat when the board is assembled. (Pictures 3 and 4).The board itself is likely to eventually break at the point at each end of the long slot, since there is only a small amount of wood there, and those two points are bearing the load of each pizza. (Circled in red, picture 5). The bamboo ply is composed of three layers, with alternating grain, so it may hold up longer than I think. The silicone parchment arrives with many wrinkles and looks "used" from day 1 -- not a big deal to me, but might be something to consider if giving it as a gift.Since these currently range from $13 to 45, this one is in the middle. I don't see any reason to opt for this instead of the cheapest one.
