Eu achei essa centrífuga um pouco pequena, porém, ela é bem prática. Ela chegou dentro do prazo estiupulado e em bom estado.

I bought this salad spinner back in 2013 and while I don’t use it very often, I’ve used it plenty over the last 8 years and it’s still going strong. I bought it back when my husband and I moved in together and I just needed something for the two of us. Now that we have a 7 year old, I tend to use our larger one more, but this still comes in handy when washing and cleaning parsley and cilantro or when I making a side salad. It’s certainly on the smaller side, but I love the functionality of it and that I control how fast I can spin it as opposed to the ones where you push down on the top to spin it and it can only spin so fast. I’m actually buying one for a friend who liked ours which is what made me think to even write a review. Highly recommended if you need or want a smaller sized salad spinner.

I bought one of these for my sister, and liked it so much, I ordered one for myself. I've looked at so many of them, but there are a couple of things about the design of this one that I liked:First, my old one drained all the way through, instead of catching the water in the container, so I had to hold it over the sink with one hand and try to spin it with the other, which was awkward. This one catches the water, and you just tip it in the sink to drain.Second, the handle is convenient to grip, so you can hold it firmly down on the counter with one hand on the handle, and spin it easily with the other. Some of them have a hole for water, but I like to rinse the head of lettuce under the faucet, tear the leaves into the spinner, and then spin them dry. You could also tear the leaves and place them in the spinner, and then fill the whole thing with water and agitate them and then drain and spin, or tear them into the basket, rinse under running water and then drain and spin. This one is less expensive than most of them, and it's nicely made. If you have a large family, or you make huge amounts of salad at a time, you might want a bigger one.

This works fine on greens. However, I was getting tired of wringing out hash browns before cooking to get them crispy enough and wanted a salad spinner for that.It doesn't work well for my purpose. If you hold it by the handle, once it starts to spin, the potatoes wind up one side and it acts like an out-of-balance washer, shaking and vibrating the whole thing and whatever surface it is sitting on.If you hold it in the air to avoid vibrating your whole kitchen, the top on the far end pops off and shredded potatoes start coming out.It would be greatly improved if the far end of it, opposite from the handle, had some sort of locking or sealing mechanism. The handle does sort of have a locking mechanism, so if you hold the far side with one hand, and spin with the other, you can kind of get it to work. But you have to live with the vibration shaking your counters. As it is, it almost requires two people to use it in the air, one to hold both the handle and far side, and another to spin it.That being said, yes I'm aware it isn't advertised for my purpose, which is why I still gave it 4 stars. It works fine on greens and lettuce and the stuff most folks will use it for.But if you want to spin shredded potatoes, this isn't a whole lot easier than just wringing them out in kitchen towels.

I love the design of this small salad spinner. And when I say small, we are talking about the size of a small frying pan with space for 2 small salads or one larger salad. The size is great for a family of 2 or a single person who's cupboards are space-starved but who want an option to wash and clean lettuce, spinach, etc. This is a great little design and here's why I love it:1) the design of the spinning handle creates such a great amount of centrifugal force that it really does a nice job of getting those last drops of water off. It's kind of akin to the final spin cycle on your washing machine.2) the handle design (like a good 2.5 qt cooking pot) makes straining your fruits or veggies easy. There are nice spouts located on both sides of the strainer that allow straining for left or righties. I consider this a very thoughtful design element. The spinning motion is smooth and easy and fast. As one reviewer stated, contents will go flying if opened while still spinning. This creates such good centrifugal force that it's probably advised to WAIT to open the lid before removing the contents.I was very pleased with the overall quality for the price. The materials used are quality materials (the bottom is more like a Tupperware container and not a brittle plastic as I had imagined). This is really a great addition to a kitchen, college dorm, apartment wherever. If you are preparing salads for an entire family, this probably is not the spinner for you. This spinner is fit for 1 or 2 people unless you want to spin and spin. :)The quality is great. I am very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

After 18 mos. use, I still rate it a strong 5 star: holding up great; does a great job of spinning off water from the salad leaves; sturdy; even does fine in dishwasher upper tray, though we don't need to clean it very often. Wish they also made a slightly larger version, but for two of us, it's adequate; sometimes we have to run several batches through it in order to get enough lettuce for us both to have large salads.Pros: (1) very sturdy; (2) spinner easy to turn and spins great; (3) very inexpensive on Amazon.Con: small--holds just enough to be great for 2 people. If you want large salad for 2, or have more people, you'd have to reload it sev times.Only had it 2 wks, but it's so well made and thick plastic that I expect it to hold up well for a long time. I'll re-post in future if it fails to hold up.
