We own several of these and another brand gas cans. These carry gas ok, but are really hard to use. The gas flows out slowly in intermittent bursts which makes it challenging to pour since it flows really slowly and then suddenly comes out fast which overflows small fill pipes, like on mowers, small generators, etc. We end up needing to use a funnel to provide a buffer or transferring into a smaller can.The button is hard to use - it tends to get stuck in the open position since the button tends to jump the grooved track.Also, over time these started leaking from the spout and/or button assembly. Likely an O ring somewhere, but having gas spill out of unexpected places while trying to pour isn’t ideal.The triangular shape is also odd. Maybe it serves a purpose to provide space for the can to flex and expand when they are stored side by side if the contents expands under pressure, but it makes it harder to store and more tipsy then cans which are more rectangular.Overall, these are one of the least expensive cans available, and it serves its purpose for light use, with some annoyances. But for us, we use these frequently enough so they fall short of expectations.

Just press up a bit then down on the button to get the gas flowing. I tried other types of gas containers and could never guide it out. I would have gotten a larger size cost was just a few more dollars but I wanted same day delivery and one gallon was only available. Though my scooter tank is like 1.2 gallons so no big deal. Drained my tank and needed to get fresh gas. Good to have in car also.

I find this to be a good choice for a gas can as it has a safety shut off on the outlet and the price was reasonable given its quality of construction and its brand name. The safety valve is defeated with one finger. The shape of the can being narrow makes it easier to support under one arm as you pour gas. This is important due to the weight of 5 gallons of fuel.

I have searched for years for a spill proof gas can and this is the one. It is terrible that the government regulation on gas cans has done exactly the opposite of the intent causing much much more spilled gas. So frustrating. I have replaced all of my cans with this one. The nozzle design is what is the best. You can purchase the nozzle separately but it may not fit due to all of the different thread patterns on gas cans these days. I suggest buy the can then try the nozzle on other cans that you might have. If it fits any of them then purchase the nozzle only and save a little money.UPDATE: The nozzle will begin to leak after a while, especially if you tip the can up to empty the can. I found an even better can which is the "No-Spill 1450 5-Gallon Poly Gas Can" sold thru Amazon. More money but easier to use by far.
