I bought this because my daughter was diagnosed with a heart condition (SVT) and we were told to use a stethoscope to confirm if she was in a tachycardic episode or not. The hospital gave us a stethoscope but it was too tight for my husbands head. He likes this one much better. This one is similar to the one from the hospital, sound is equally great and you’re able to hear the heart beat very clearly. This stethoscope is angled, so it only fits a certain way. The hospital brand one is straight.

I am a Nurse and when I say the sound quality of this is horrible. I will say it’s light weight and the color is pretty but if your are in the health care field and need to listen to patients heart beat or fistula access it’s the worst do not buy

Ottimo fonendoscopio. Perfettamente sovrapponibile come qualità a quelli più famosi in uso quotidianamente.L'acustica è perfetta. In diversi colori.Lo consiglio a tutti i colleghi medici.

Leider kam das Produkt sehr verspätet an und dann auch noch total rostig. Schade optisch hat es mir sehr zu gesagt. Leider war auch die akustische Qualität nicht gut.

This works good, but not as good as a much less expensive one I have. The actual volume and clarity of what you are listening to, is where the quality is lacking. I am not a professional in the medical field; but having rescued almost 300 cats and kittens now, along with having shared my life with wonderful dogs that did not deserve the diseases that befell them, it is imperative that as a nonprofessional, I can tell if something is not right in an animal that cannot speak to me. This is information that I either pass on to my vet, on a medicated animal being monitored, realize that an emergency situation is going on or that a trip to the vet is not warranted. I kept this stethoscope as a back up, but my cheap ($7.00) stethoscope is what I rely on.

FAR BETTER quality than what I ever expected. I opened the box and just said "wow". It has the look and feel of a much more expensive stethoscope. The head is a heavy weight and easy to handle. The tubing is a heavy weight and drapes quietly and stays still. The ear pieces are brushed metal and well sealed within the tubing, making less places for germs to hide when cleaning. (Cheaply made stethoscopes have the "spring" between the ear pieces on the outside of the tubing.) The brushed metal also gives it a more professional look. It comes with two colors of soft ear tips (I'm keeping one color just for me and the other for students). One set of ear tips is clear so it is easy to see if they are clean on the inside. It also comes with an extra diaphragm. The head is a good size for both adults and pediatrics. I have used many cheap teaching stethoscopes in my career and half of the time is spent fighting with them. Cheap tubing doesn't want to lay down but springs around with a mind of its own, dragging the cheap light aluminum head with it (not to mention cheap tubing is always tangled up). Fighting with a cheaply made stethoscope can be a real hassle when trying to teach heart and lung sounds. Teaching should focus on what students should learn to hear and not focused on poorly made equipment. Maybe it's not an issue if all you want to do is teach how to take blood pressures. Go ahead and shop around but come back and buy this one. Absolutely recommend this stethoscope for the quality, professional appearance, and price.

Really good for helping to teach partner how to take blood pressure. Only problem is the ear pieces split very quickly and had to replace.
