I had been quite pleased with this infuser until this morning when the handle snapped off. I did not expect it to last forever but it would have been nice to get a few more years of use out of it.

The original filter was very cheaply made; tea leaves stuck in the gaps of the poorly soldered mesh and the mesh pulled away from the frame. This one is made of better material and more wisely designed and built.

I’ve been knitting pleated English tea cozies for friends. The Price and Kensington 6-cup pot is a nice size, the stainless steel insert provides options for loose tea and I can knit the tea cozy to the size of this pot. Makes a nice presentation, if I do say so myself.

Thanks to the Price & Kensington 6 cup Stainless Steel filter, I can brew a pot of delicious tea using loose tea leaves. The filter also fits into my tall mug for a single tea serving. The filter seems well made for daily use.

While I very much like my P&K teapot, this filter is neither well-designed nor particularly well-made. The metal mesh, which nicely filters out even smaller tea leaves, has a tendency to separate from the metal frame. I'm sure it won't be long until I need to buy another replacement. Too bad.

We wanted a teapot with a strainer. Price & Kensington advertise this strainer on the same page as their teapots and even say in the information that it is suitable to use with their teapots. It does not fit in the teapot! How ridiculous! The teapot arrived two days before the strainer so we had already started to use the pot. Annoyed and disappointed.
