The Quarter Turn Anti-Siphon Wall Hydrant, P-164D08, has great features such as backflow preventer, soft grip handle for easy operation, easy conversion to loose key operation, built-in drainage pitch. The length of the wall hydrant is 8 inches. The inlet is 1/2 inch MPT by 1/2 inch SWT with 5 full threads for hose connection. The faucet of the wall hydrant is satin nickel plated for rust-free longer life. This product is proudly made in the USA.

Bought this unit on-line because I couldn't find a quality valve at the box stores. Fit and function are perfect. The time it takes to install one of these it's worth buying a quality valve!

This is the third Prier quarter-turn frost-proof sillcock that I've installed replacing my 50-year old Hodes units. The first two went fine and I've been very happy with them, this last one was leaking like crazy around the handle packing whenever I turned the water on. It turns out the packing nut was barely hand-tight. After cranking it down with a wrench, this unit works as well as the other two and does not leak. Check your nut!

This was a direct replacement for the hose bibb that was already on the rear of my house. Installation was a breeze. The functionality and build quality is second to none. The quarter turn operation is such a vast improvement over the multi-turn operation. I would recommend this to anyone.

Purchased this specifically because I liked the large green rubber handle and the fact that it is a short turn. Plumber installed last week and it's already leaking from the handle. I guess this is why Home Depot stopped carrying them. Buyer beware!

In the 15 years that we've lived in our Ryan home, I have replaced both of our Frost-free Legend water spigots at least 2 times! Ridiculous! My parents lived in a 50 year old home and my dad NEVER had to replace his! So I decided to try another brand. So far, this spigot works great, but we will see over time if it fails just like the Legends. Most people say thet the Legends are garbage and I agree. The last one actually burst inside the house and flooded my basement! And it was the one located inside my garage away from the winter's freezing temps. This value was a little stiff to turn at first , but quickly lossened making it easy to turn ON and Off. Nice feel to the rubber handle. Easy to install. Next year, I will change out the remaning Legend spigot with one of these.

This sillcock turns effortlessly from off to on. There is no doubt about it being in either position. There's no need to turn it tighter---when it his the end of it's travel, that's it. As long as you remove the hose, the hydrant drains completely in freezing weather.
