All the items in this kit are the real thing. I don't know what the quality is compared to other medical equipment but as a toy for an aspiring 6 year old "doctor" it is better made than any toy doctor's kit that you can buy! And it comes in a carry bag.

Bought this for my 10 year old daughter as she is obsessed with pet care and wants to be able to hear our dogs heart.I know this is not listed as a toy but she loves using it when she's being our dogs vet. She will even take it with her to the vet when we take our dogs in and our vet helps her find a heartbeat and other simple checks using her new vet tools.I have no experience with a Stethoscope, so can't comment on the quality of this for use in a professional setting.
