Your cart is empty.Clothesline hooks are most often used to secure clotheslines and are usually mounted into a pre-drilled hole on a metal post. Installing a nut on either side of the post keeps the line taut and allows for easy adjustments should the line ever need to be tightened. This type of hook can be used for other purposes as well, but it is not meant for any heavy duty applications. Great for holding temporary things like tarps in place as they easily accept grommets.

Some makers measure the size of the bolt by amount of thread, others from tip to tip. Check how each one measures. This one is by thread.

The Prime-Line 9066459 Eye Bolts With Nuts, 1/4 In.-20 X 5 In are finished and the threads are machined good. The Zinc coating, which is important for outdoor use and incompatible metals attached to, was smooth and not chalky/flaky.

5 inches includes the loop or "eye" so it was shorter than I was hoping but still worked for what I needed
