Your cart is empty.Slotted spring pins are headless hollow cylindrical tube having a longitudinal slot down the entire length with chamfered or round ends to aid installation. This type of pin is produced with a controlled outside diameter slightly greater than the hole in which it will be installed Compressed as it is installed, the pin applies continuous pressure towards the sides of the hole wall. The pressure provides tension in a radial manner to prevent loosening created by vibration or shock.

Perfect replacement for the bolt catch roll pin on my ar lower. It never hurts to have spares, as I mangled the original one i had(my fault).

had a mag catch pin with a kit that absolutely would not go in, not even after tapering the ends and grinding it down as best I could. These fit PERFECTLY... slid right in with just a bit of tapping from a pin punch and brass hammer - just the right amount of friction. A whole pack of 25 for what some would charge you for just a couple - maybe just one. I'm sure the additional "24" I have left in this pack - will get used in the future - put them right beside the "Oops kit" in my parts drawer!

Building two lowers. Identical parts. A him and hers type deal. The extended bolt catch from Strike Industries installed smoothly on one lower. The other lower? Let's just say a few expletives were used. I was unsure if the lower was not machined to spec or if the bolt catch roll pin was not machined correctly. I marred my lower and destroyed the pin. Ordered this bulk pack and first pin I grabbed slid in without any effort at all. Correct thickness and didn't deform upon hammering it in. This pack of pins kept my sanity and now I can continue with my build. I don't understand those complaining they don't know what to do with the other pins in the bag. You got extras and paid way less than what you would have paid for 1 pin. It's a simple part, no need to look elsewhere and pay "top dollar".You can see the pin installed with the bolt catch and slight marring on the lower. Notice the 'PA' in the Palmetto lettering. Had to use some flat black auto paint. I don't care much for aesthetics on something that's meant to be used but it is annoying to ruin the finish when something isn't to spec. So, again, this pack of pins is definitely worth it. Whether you need extras for a rainy day or if you happen to come across an issue like mine.

There is nothing wrong with these pins and I intend to keep them for other projects, but they are too small in diameter to hold an AK piston to the bolt carrier. After my KNS piston wouldn't cycle reliably, I decided to go back to the stock piston. Upon inserting the pin to retain the piston to the carrier, it slipped right through without any resistance. Going to try 1/8" pins.

These may have been a little over sized as they took a lot more convincing than I've experienced with other mil-std pins. But they did eventually work and the price was right and is great to have extras on hand

Worked excellent on my AR trigger guard. Dont know what to do with the rest of them though. I guess build another. I'd buy them again.
