This Prime-Line N 7449 Bi-Fold Door Roller Assembly is constructed of a steel bracket and steel ball bearings with plastic rollers; It is commonly used on pocket door and by-pass sliding door systems; The bracket’s mounting base measures 2-7/16 in; x 1 in; and it features 4 parallel wheels that are spaced apart at 7/8 in; on center; The wheels are constructed of durable plastic, which provide for a smooth, long-lasting, quiet operation, and they feature 7/8 in; diameter convex (round) edges; These adjustable roller assemblies mount on the tops of pocket doors and they are used by many pocket door manufacturers; This roller assembly fits into a 1-5/16 inch; wide track (inside dimension, wall-2-wall).

This pocket door roller can be used on both bypass and pocket doors. It features four 7/8 in. diameter nylon ball bearing rollers. They come affixed to a steel four wheel carrier bracket.

After being unable to find the correct fitting track wheels at the hardware store (and wasted money), I found these. They replaced the older three wheel version which were not rolling smoothly. Now it rolls so smoothly and fast that I am going to have to add some felt bumpers to the door frame so the pocket door does not smack the frame when it opens.If you have taken the time to take your pocket door off, replace the track wheels... it is so much nicer.

It seems there are as many track sizes as there are manufacturers. Also as many wheel sizes. Diagrams on websites of many manufacturers do not show all of the important measurements an informed buyer needs.Wheel sizes, over all height and widths, so one can see if the roller assembly will fit.

These rollers do not have ball bearings just the regular plastic wheels. Other than that they were fine.
