Great accessory if you have a Primo or Green Egg style smoker....I even take mine out of the smoker when not in use and put in my oven. You can reheat food on it great, use it as a pizza stone in your oven. Adds a crispy restaurant quality texture to the foods cooked on. Open faced sandwiches do well on it also!

It is nice. It was expensive. I think cheaper models would work just as well.

This works great on Primo grills for pizza. Couple of suggestions: As soon as you start the fire, put the stone on the grill to heat up with the Primo. Do not put a cold pizza stone on a hot grill or it's likely to crack. Second, get the fire to about 450 degrees before you put the pizza on it. It's less likely to burn on the bottom. Do that, and you get great pizza.

Well, It arrived in one piece. We used it on the first night and made two pizzas. We have a Primo grill and as recommended we got the temp up to ~ 600. Kids participated in the preparation and really thought the pizza tasted great. We will have to learn how to transfer the uncooked pizza onto the hot stone in once piece, ours fell apart (learning curve).

It arrived shattered. Terrible packing for shipment. Amazon, please assess and reconsider the box you are using for this product. We have requested a return and replacement of the same product. We'll see how many times it takes for it to arrive UNBROKEN.

I use the primo pizza stone with my Primo large oval charcoal grill. A critical part of the success is getting the pizza dough just right. Many of the easy bake doughs won't hold up to the heat without burning. The pizza stone works very well to get the crust done well if you use a good yeast crust.

I have purchased many of the thinner stones to use on the grill and they all seem to crack after one or two uses. They are less expensive but end up in the trash. This stone is thick and it has a porcelain glaze. I use it on my Weber gas grill to get the stone 500-600 degrees to cook pizza (simulating a wood oven). It works well and hasn't cracked yet. Clean up is easy as well because of the porcelain glaze.
